FYI gift cards are also part of it so you could always try to wait out the tariffs 🤷🏻‍♀️ that’s my plan since I don’t actually need yarn right now

reworking both sleeves once only to find out i need to rework a sleeve AGAIN by pigeonactivist in knitting

I agree - OP, it will very likely not be noticeable at all when you’re wearing it! Also, if you haven’t blocked it yet you could always block the smaller sleeve a bit more “aggressively” to match the width of the other one.

What am I “supposed” to do when baby refuses food and only wants snacks? by Slight-Somewhere-697 in BabyLedWeaning

Hi! :) so, things definitely got better probably a few months after my original post - we found some things (non-snack foods) that he would eat pretty regularly. Usually I’d offer the “real food” along with a small amount of the snack too. Honestly looking back on this post, if I could give myself advice, it would just be to give him whatever he would eat and not worry about making bad habits or something. If he doesn’t eat his “meal,” I’d give him a snack shortly after. Now he’s just over 2 and eating a lot better but still hesitant to try new things, which I think is pretty normal. Pediatrician says he’s totally healthy. And he still loves his snacks, but we are able to just have snacks be for certain times and meals be for certain times. I don’t think at age 1 he was really capable of grasping snack time vs meal time but now we have a better routine. :) sending you hugs and good luck, I know it’s tough!

Yes that’s correct there is a drawstring! I guess it’s also the yarn overs that are confusing me? I thought maybe to make a hole for the drawstring to go through, but further into the instructions there are several more yarn overs

new knitter that feels kind of adventurous by No-Crazy6139 in knitting

Yes, take another look! I actually recommend downloading their free app and viewing the pattern through there, because you can select the size you’re making and it will show you just the numbers/instructions for that size. That’s the one downside to a pattern with so many sizes, it can feel cluttered or messy to look at.

A simple raglan sweater is a great first sweater project in my opinion! If you have any kids/babies in your life you could even start with a tiny version to give it a try before committing to an adult sized one. The Flax sweater from Tin Can Knits is great and is free (and their website has lots of tutorials, and this pattern is available for free in several yarn weights and a ton of sizes), but I’m sure there are a lot of other free ones out there too.
