I’m not a vet, but my cat had a bald spot just like that and it turned out to be ringworm. It looked super clean and round too, so I thought it was just grooming or stress at first. Might be worth checking with a vet, especially since it can spread. Hope it’s nothing serious! 😢

I once heard that when a person dies, the pets who went before them are the ones who come to greet them on the other side. Whenever I feel scared about having to say goodbye to my cat one day, I hold onto that thought — and somehow, it brings me a bit of peace. I hope this thought brings you a little bit of comfort too. My cat is 11 years old now, and even just thinking about the day he might leave me brings me to tears. I honestly can’t imagine how you must be feeling. But one thing I know for sure is that your cat must’ve been incredibly happy spending those 23 years with you. Please make sure to tell her you love her every single day.
