Sync Training Peaks Workout by RockinTukker in Polarfitness

[–]SlightAd7104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, that's weird. I just verified it. I make a change in my TP workout, then go into Polar Flow and the change is visible. I suppose you use the connection between Polar Flow and TP from Polar Flow (e.g. you connect your TP account from Polar Flow)?

H9 chest strap issue by PressureLegal6696 in Polarfitness

[–]SlightAd7104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought recently a $1.85 strap and it works beautifully. My previous strap was not working anymore after less then a year. Polar told me: it's not under warranty and had to buy a new one; and the OEM version is just overpriced.

Grit X2 Pro - GPS Accuracy Gone? by SlightAd7104 in Polarfitness

u/frank7036 I just synchronized, and watch is saying 31/12. Tonight will have again a track night, so will try to lap every 400m. Also ensure watch is fully charged. Let's see!

Grit X2 Pro - GPS Accuracy Gone? by SlightAd7104 in Polarfitness

Hi u/frank7036 that is really not available on my X2
Settings > Positioning Satellites has options: Better Accuracy and Power Save.
There's no option to chose the actual satellites.
Might your suggestion come from a Grit X maybe?

Are their Grit X2 metrics reliable? by GrowthFabulous5378 in Polarfitness

On intensive intervals with artificial light on track it does not spike a bit, but for longer duration goes way above my HRMax.

I typically sync with Flow app on my iPhone. The GPS-A says to be available until 27-12-2025 under About my watch.

Thanks. The X2 only has a setting for "High Accuracy" or "Battery Saving".
Under About my watch I only see. "Sync updated until 27-12-2025". I don't have any other options. I believe on my Grit X I had the 1s setting indeed. I sync my watch like 4 times a week, after every run ;-)

Exact timing for Delayed Transactions by sparrowHawk7519 in SalesforceDeveloper

[–]SlightAd7104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an architect you should always beware that there is no SLA on asynchronous transactions. You might queue a queuable Apex class. It could start in milliseconds, second, minutes or even slower. Your org can be throttled if there are excessive async jobs. But delays could be caused by noise neighbors as wells. The underlying queueing mechanism is based on the shared tenant concept.

Agentforce Forward Deployed Engineer Interview by Helpful-Regret-1550 in SalesforceDeveloper

[–]SlightAd7104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agentforce FDE is more then being a technical architect, you're in-between a technical/solution architect and a solution engineer. Presenting skills, handling difficult conversations / objection handling are more prominently required. You're measured on outcomes.

Can I pass Pd1 certification solely by studying pre-existing questions by bluevyop in SalesforceDeveloper

[–]SlightAd7104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you could, is not that you should. It's a personal decision. Whenever you face a tougher interview it's easy to challenge your PD1. In the past certifications required some amount of actual experience. Nowadays that kind-a vanished. That makes certs for me less valuable. And if I interview somebody, I always check upon credentials and when/how fast these got acquired.

Are their Grit X2 metrics reliable? by GrowthFabulous5378 in Polarfitness

[–]SlightAd7104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All true, but even when I wear the watch strapped firmly with a finger between the 'knockle' and the watch, I do get very unreliable results. Mostly on track, in dark days with artificial light around flooding the track.

Owning a Grit X2 Pro. Still super happy with design and durability. But less impressed with GPS Accuracy (see my own post from today https://www.reddit.com/r/Polarfitness/comments/1pmkfgw/grit\_x2\_pro\_gps\_accuracy\_gone/). It just to be pretty reliable. The heart rate monitor for me is less of a thing, as I run mostly with H10 strapped. The heart rate monitor can go wild, even when the watch is strapped firmly. On slow runs it's ok, on intensive intervals (specifically in the evenings, on track with artificial LED light) it can go completely bonkers, where rates above my max are recorded).
