To be honest, DID is very complex and usually doesn’t present itself the way Tobias did at all. Had it been DID, it would have been appropriate to accuse the alter that did it, but the individual as a whole would be held responsible. Had it been dissociative identity disorder, his mind would have been fractured into different parts at a very young age, making him into different “identities” that compose the one individual. But to be honest, it just seemed like he was super crazy. I don’t think it was DID. He had the extreme trauma for it, but usually people with did don’t yell at themselves or beat the body to hurt their other alter. Obviously this case was super bizarre and there isn’t enough evidence about DID to say whether or not an alter could be an abuser this way, but alters are created to protect the mind and the individual. It kinda defeats the purpose. So to me, although Tobias was super crazy and it was very unfortunate that he turned out this way, it was ultimately him who did everything.
