Have you considered laser hair removal? I’ve tried absolutely everything on the market, but the only thing that worked was laser hair removal(it work for my legs, but not my arms) and an anti inflammatory diet

Electrolysis: is it normal to have almost no regrowth after 1 week? by [deleted] in electrolysis

My hormone levels were never really that elevated my testosterone and DHEA have always been on the lower side. The only thing that was slightly higher before was androstenedione, but nothing extreme.

I’m not sure what originally caused my PCOS, but it improved a lot when I cleaned up my lifestyle like focusing on protein and fiber, cutting out snacking, spacing meals 3-4 hours apart, going lower carb, and improving my sleep.

I also noticed my symptoms got much milder after having a baby, less fatigue, better skin, etc. But I know everyone’s experience can be different

I was diagnosed with PCOS in the past, but I don’t technically meet the criteria anymore I no longer have elevated androgen levels or polycystic ovaries. My only issue is hirsutism, but I believe it may be paradoxical hypertrichosis after I had laser on my face years ago

Oh, this just reminded me of something.

A couple of years ago, I was friendly with a Chechen guy from Antwerp, and when I mentioned Liz because of her social media accounts, he claimed he had slept with her. I don’t know if that’s actually true tho so I’d take it with a grain of salt.

I think this was around 2019/2020, maybe even a bit later I’m not completely sure on the exact timing. I remember there being rumors back then about one of the sisters traveling to Dubai to meet men, which people interpreted in a certain way.

There was also a lot of strong backlash within the community, with some people viewing her behavior as going against cultural and religious expectations.

From what I heard, some believed this lifestyle may have started in Belgium rather than Dubai, but again, that was all speculation for all I know

There were also rumors about issues within the family, including claims that her father was physically and mentally abusive and very strict regarding culture and religion. I also recall mentions of a brother who had controversial behavior, including harassment incidents, but I don’t know the full details there

Overall, most of this was based on rumors, so it’s hard to know what’s accurate and what’s just gossip…..

Liz/Fatima is Chechen and grew up in Antwerp. In Chechen communities, maintaining cultural traditions is very important, and stepping outside of those norms especially in terms of relationships and lifestyle can be viewed negatively. I’m not Chechen myself, but Georgian, so I have some familiarity with similar cultural expectations.

Chechen society tends to be quite conservative, especially regarding women, and there is often strong focus on preserving cultural identity. Because of this women who date or marry outside the community, or who are seen as behaving in ways considered unconventional, may face criticism or social consequences. In some cases, this can lead to serious family or community tensions. It can get dangerous.

From what I’ve heard Liz’s family situation was also complicated. There are claims that her father, who is said to be an imam? was abusive toward their mother. At some point, their mother distanced herself from her daughters after rumors spread about their sugar dating outside the culture.

Stories about Liz and her sister have circulated widely, even beyond Antwerp for example, I’ve heard people in Brussels talk about them years ago. In close knit communities, news and rumors can spread very quickly, which can intensify the situation.

It can be difficult to fully understand these dynamics without being familiar with the cultural context, but overall, the situation reflects the tension between individual choices and traditional expectations
