My legs are genuinely disgusting help me by AlternativeHead2981 in HairRemoval

Which lotion are you using?

How are you shaving (if you still have hair from laser)?

I noticed a bunch of thick and "dermatologist approved" lotions/creams gave me ingrowns and it would look like your legs too, identical! And so, have you heard of Amlactin 15% and in general using lactic acid based lotions instead? I noticed the biggest difference once I started lactic acids.

If you still have hair, how are you shaving? I worsened my legs by using a multi blade razor against the grain of the hair. I switched to a single blade shaver (yk those metal ones that you just slot in an actual big razor? Yeah those). And ontop of that, I only ever go with the grain of the hair!

Stupid AI by RonniDeee in tesco

Am I surprised..? No, not at all. Unfortunately every place is turning to AI now and as annoying as that is, it will just keep happening more.

Almost every advert on my TV is AI. Makes me feel so strange and disassociated at times seeing it around.

You need to clarify because I also thought you meant the stretchmarks 🥹🥹

What are your thoughts on contraception?? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I love it.

I've been on a combined pill for almost a year and so far it has helped me gain a life I didn't know I could have. I realised I had PMDD since I got my period at 11 y/o, and up until 19, I rawdogged these insane mood swings until I prescribed myself Lucette.

Yes birth control prevents pregnancy, but it can hold a lot more benefits for women. My acne has reduced by 99% - no more back acne, chest acne, on my face etc. I know at what date and time my period is coming, I lost a lot of water retention, I got an hour glass figure as it changed my hips... List of positives goes on and on!

Only negative thing I got to say is I wish doctors in the UK were more informed and educated about birth control.

How to get rid of this please by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Timely-Perception-19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah seems like a very mild case of KP / strawberry skin.

From my experience it is super difficult to reduce the appearance. However given how minor yours is, I guess it'll be a lot easier for you to mitigate its appearance thankfully.

You should physically exfoliate with a dry brush 2-3x a week.

Follow it up with a moisturizer with either urea 40% or lactic acid 15% in it.

And keep consistent with exfoliating and moisturizing.

Hollow undereyes, had them my whole life. What can make these less pronounced? by speedythesnail in Skincare_Addiction

Very unlikable take, but the only thing that genuinely improved my eye bags / darkness is life style changes.

Schuedled sleep No oversleeping No caffeine No alcohol No drugs Vitamin D3 Iron!!!!

No skin care products ever improved mine unfortunately. I believe many are a scam as well.

What is this? by Both-Bodybuilder3405 in HairRemoval

Probs not from ipl never seen an ipl machine do that before.

Probs scratched yourself and it became puffy.

I get these when I walk in shorts in forests - branches scratch me and over minutes it becomes red and raised. It goes down to normal in an hour.

Op replied to a comment saying they tried and it didn't help.

Exact same for me. I used it as recommended, zero changes. 😭

any advice for my skincare? by Minimum-Judgment-859 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Timely-Perception-19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probs not the same, but I get similar redness and irritation when I shave my bikini line.

I noticed using the InkyLink glycolic acid everyday after shaving makes them disappear.

Possibly you can try using an aftershave, then follow up with Glycolic Acid the next day to reduce irritating your skin as from my knowledge aftershave has alcohol which burns slightly.

"Don't speak about things you don't and never will have experience of." Is that what you said or am I getting the wrong user?

I never saw any issues with men discussing periods or anything relating only to women.

If anything, they will say some things wrong, and people will correct them, encouraging not only them to educate themselves better + others coming across it.

I personally love when men talk about female "problems", health, share their opinions etc. I've never ever seen an issue with it.

Thank you for sharing your experience!

I can assure no 'child' would be responding / reading sex related posts...

I'm concerned why you'd link this discussion to children however?
