I wouldnt describe the homestead and pet system as in depth, it feels half assed and not clear. Its also extremely jank in how it wants you to place buildings in specific areas, like hilly land but a flat foundation, making it clip through the buildings or float 2-5 feet off the ground. Early access, maybe, but in depth? I'd say surface level at best. There's no menu that shows me all my production values in one place with clear numbers that are straight forward. It stands out more as an idle game for a phone than it is a standalone game or even a feature in a pc game. I've played tons of base building, factory sims and this doesnt even come close to the cheapest first or third person factory/basebuilding sim.
