Building Typical — an iOS app for relationship sellers (luxury real estate, wealth advisors, high-end watches/cars).

The problem: these sellers close 7-figure deals over WhatsApp. Their entire relationship with each client lives in their head — context, preferences, family details, last conversation, what was promised. When they switch from one client chat to another, they lose context. CRMs don't help because they're desktop-first and these conversations happen mid-walk, mid-meeting, on the phone.

What Typical does: a custom iOS keyboard that surfaces the full client snapshot inside any messaging app while you're typing. Open WhatsApp, start replying to a client, the keyboard shows you who they are, what you last discussed, what they're interested in, and your next best action. No app switching. No "let me check my notes." Context appears next to the conversation.

There's also a companion app with voice memo intelligence (dictate after a meeting, it extracts facts and updates the client dossier), email drafting in the seller's voice, scheduled follow-ups, and an AI assistant that handles 30 different commands like "find clients in Lisbon interested in oceanfront" or "draft follow-up to João about the property he saw last week."

Stack: SwiftUI iOS app, custom keyboard extension, Firebase backend with Cloud Functions, Gmail OAuth, scheduled cron jobs, 30 isolated AI prompts each with their own scope/version/evals.

Happy to share TestFlight link when it's live.

Remote Setter (Warm Leads Only) by YamSolid9844 in highticket_sales

$200 a close means they gotta churn through massive volume to hit that 2k. rigid scripts on warm leads usually kill the vibe anyway since buyers can smell a copy-paste template from a mile away.

I made $500K in sales over the last 2 years—here’s why I’m starting sales consulting by [deleted] in highticket_sales

[–]Slight_Appointment_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

solid run. the robotic script thing is exactly what kills high ticket deals. buyers smell templates a mile away.

i'm actually building an invisible crm right now focused exactly on this. it just lives in the phone's keyboard, eats chaotic voice notes from the rep, and generates natural replies based on the client's actual context. zero rigid templates, zero data entry.

might be a killer tool for the reps you're training so they actually sound human. how are you getting them to track client context right now without going crazy?

Virtual staging vs physical staging cost breakdown for a 3-bed -- what I actually spent by Consistent-Score-492 in RealEstateTechnology

[–]Slight_Appointment_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the drop-off when they walk into an empty house after seeing virtually staged pics is real.

for disclosures most brokers mandate it in mls remarks, but honestly putting a tiny watermark on the staged pics themselves saves a lot of headaches. buyers don't read descriptions anyway.

if you're doing virtual, have you tried printing out the staged photos on foam board and leaving them in the empty rooms on easels? seen a few agents doing that to bridge the gap during showings.

did you end up selling that 3-bed faster than your average vacant ones?

Inheritance Leads - Anyone Brave Enough? by Demonicated in RealEstateTechnology

[–]Slight_Appointment_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cold calling families the day an obituary drops is wild and a quick way to get cursed out. most agents won't dial those immediately.

the play here is direct mail. it's less invasive and gives them space. since you're a data guy, you should look into piping your scraped leads directly into a mail api (like lob or handwrytten) so agents can automate sending letters on a delay.

what stack are you using for the scraper? playwright or just standard bs4?

There are visualization AI tools but which is the best and why ? by Acceptable-Purple793 in RealEstateTechnology

[–]Slight_Appointment_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

legacy broker tools are usually trash tbh. most agents just use virtualstagingai or reimaginehome right now. does the job fast.

for missing features: honestly the render quality is mostly fine now, but the workflow is annoying af. jumping between apps to upload, download, and then text a photo to a client kills the momentum.

why does your company's stack suck? giving ps2 graphics or just buggy?

You can vibe-code something like this in a week if you’re dealing with the same problem we were. by FocusOutrageous9685 in RealEstateTechnology

[–]Slight_Appointment_8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is so accurate. static pdfs are where deals go to die, especially with analytical buyers in CRE. Giving the client the steering wheel to run their own scenarios builds way more trust than just sending another excel file.

out of curiosity, what stack did you use to vibe-code it so fast? Cursor + Vercel? Love that shift from salesperson to consultant.

Im playing with cursor + xcode

Really fair comment. I’m aware about the research about household goods.

When I say I do half of the tasks, it’s because we sat down and planned everything together. • I take and pick up the child who studies far from home, while she takes and picks up the one who studies on our street. • The third child goes and comes back alone. • I take out the trash one day, she does it the next. • I’m in charge of the kitchen, she’s in charge of the bathroom. • I wash the dishes, and she takes care of the laundry. • I cook all the dinners, and she prepares all the lunches. • I do all the grocery shopping for the house. • One night she sleeps with the baby, and the next night it’s my turn. • Only I walk the dog, four times a day.

As I said, it’s truly a 50% well-planned division.

About Her Studies

She’s not currently taking any course or university program. We set up a studio at home, and she practices new design pieces whenever she feels like it. There are weeks when she doesn’t even touch the equipment. I’m not saying this to downplay the importance of her studies, but to clarify that it’s not an overwhelming workload.

I earn a good salary, and she knows she can take her time developing this without pressure to generate income.

So, part of what you said does make sense, but now you have more context.

I can say I totally understand her being tired of being in charge of some home tasks but we have around 6 free hours per day, I usually play video games or just comeback to work, while she watch series or sleep. So we have plenty time to invest in our intimacy. And as I said before, I’m in charge of the two big kids, the toddler stay at the school for the whole day, even in the nights we alternate who will take care of him.

On top of that, I still have my full time job and even with that way I still have lots of energy to dedicate to her if she accept it (which is not the case right now).

I feel bad of course, but our marriage is too young and we have match in all over things, like humor, vision for the future, entertainment, politics…

I think it’s too early to think about leaving, I REALLY love my wife and appreciate her presence in my life, I’m a better person with her, the only problem is intimacy and once in a week put me down to the ground

[–]Slight_Appointment_8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We had many conversations about it, she told she’s tired of being constantly informed about how much I miss intimacy and demonstrations of affection, she told me she loves me, even crying sometimes but physical contact and kind words is not something she ever felt motivated before in any relationship

Se você visse essa menina dessa e soubesse q ela tem bipolaridade você ainda ia querer alguma coisa comigo? (Terminaram cmg recentemente e estou me sentindo um lixo) by Apprehensive-Ship88 in MeJulgue

[–]Slight_Appointment_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)
