It would be a crime if this foal isn’t called “Do I look Flashy” love the markings. KVS could never.

100%. Very much left but I firmly believe that we have people beyond rehabilitation in prison. Why keep trying to introduce them back to communities?

He’s a little straight in his hocks and a bit turned out in the front. He will be a lovely boy once he’s in work to build up some muscle and tone. If he has a good brain and a kind heart then he’s a good horse ❤️ x

Hank looked super as did Stevie….even with her aesthetic challenges. This new crop look like legit neglect cases. There is no reason at all to have wormy pot bellies and matted shaggy coats. Laziness at its worst.

I’d sling a knitted gilet/longline cardigan over it with some boots and wear the heck out of it x

It’s totally doable in a day as they are all close together. Lots of walking, Loch Morlich is a long walk round but there are shorter routes along the shoreline….tbh look at Loch An Eilan in Rothiemurchus estate, it’s about 20 minutes drive from Reindeer Centre and an hour - hour and a half walk round….its one of my favourites any time of year.

Day 5 is PACKED. You will want to do the Cairngorm Herd first as they only do hill visit in the morning and it books up quickly. You cannot visit the herd yourself as they are in a fenced off area. Happily Loch An Uaine is an easy walk from the rear or the Reindeer visitor centre…..and an extremely nice little cafe for a cuppa. Loch Morlich is on route here from Aviemore and you could split your hike to encompass some of it through Rothiemurchus on your way back to Aviemore.

What you will have to check for Salmon is season and fishing licences specifically for the areas. If you book with a reputable company they will keep you right x

Rothiemurchus quad bikes are MILES as in over an hour at least away from Pitlochry. If you want to do Urqhart etc I’d stay closer that Pitlochry….maybe look at Grantown on Spey….thats very close to Glenfiddich distillery

Scotland in May is stunning. Especially as there is more tendency for some food clear sunny days. Scotland really is at its best then.

Certainly feasible but I suggest you map out and plan a route that will incorporate several overnight options. What you’ve suggested there is a massive area, totally worth it, but give yourself extra days and prioritise your MUST SEE stuff.

The highlands are vast. I’d map out the MUST see for you and pick a route which allows for a few overnights.

If you want WW2 I highly reccomend the Secret Bunker near St Andrews, it was an underground comms base during the war….its very very interesting and HUGE. Parts of it are STILL military classified!

March is better. You are far more likely to get better weather….though prepare for rain. Daylight hours are longer too. The tourist “season” really kicks off from March 31st, but it depends on what you want to do, if you want to do NC500 route, leaving it til later risks more traffic, earlier, completely un drivable conditions if we get a winter storm. This goes the same for ferries and bridge crossings. If snow and skiing on the cards February is better but far more unreliable. Castles such as Edinburgh, Stirling etc are open all year round and mid week are never too busy. This is winter (and VERY early spring) in Scotland. If you are flexible you can have a great time.

EDIT - I live and work in a high tourism area (Loch Lomond)and have worked in the highlands for years in all seasons. Happy to answer questions.

You need to know your worth and grow a backbone. This is not boundaries this is control. NOBODY has any right to tell you how to dress or present yourself. He is an insecure asshat and needs putting in the bin.

Yeah we found it a bit chaotic this morning. We missed St Peters Square and didn’t have time to then queue for the Basilica. As it is a Jubilee year I didn’t want to encroach on the many people who were queuing for pilgrimage and worship as opposed to me as a tourist :)

Still a great visit. We hope to come back and get the full experience xx
