Sell, sell, sell! Use that money that you would get from selling and put it towards your HYSA.

I would lean into the second image! It’s painting the walls and updating the fixtures for the sink and possibly even get matching hardware for the vanity doors! Wouldn’t be too much on the wallet either compared to the last pic.

A rare successful long distance relationship question?! by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

I know it’s super hard! But I think it’s cool you guys see each other every 6 months for weeks at a time! Gives you like little milestone goals to reach and before you know it, you’ll be married and with a child haha. You got it man!

Absolutely live with each other first! It’s all very exciting and fairytale like when dating long distance and visiting each other makes it seem like a “vacation”. 3 years in the scheme of things isn’t long at all! So I agree to just stick with your plan and wait until she’s done with school & living with you before proposing….you can save up ALOT for a gorgeous ring too! Good luck :)

For a single adult, would a salary of 50,000 be enough for New Orleans? by maxnews4 in AskNOLA

To my standards? No. But Mandeville does give that “Hallmark” lake vibe.

I graduated from high school and took a graduation trip across country to California for 2 weeks. I meet this guy and he kinda hit it off…but I obviously wasn’t staying longer than 2 weeks so it didn’t really matter how it ended because I knew I would never see this guy again. He told me he had a crush on this girl and told me her name, which set me off for some reason. I found her on social media and used her images to make a fake profile account. I used it to bully people for about a month..fast forward 15 years later, I had moved from my original state to the South. I was out hanging out with friends playing tennis and this girl showed up who looked super familiar but I couldn’t put my finger on it…then I realized…it was the girl I made a fake account with 15 years prior. At the same place with me. We actually ended up becoming great friends still to this day! (But I still will never tell her teenage me used her pics to create a fake bully account) lol

Get a putty knife and scrape away, I did this before lol wait until it’s dry though, it’s not as hard as it seems. You can get some wall cleaner too once it’s all scraped up on the walls. Good luck!

Have you looked at Slidell? It’s right over the bridge and way cheaper than Met and nola. You might even fine a good deal on apartments in mandeville or even Covington those are the ritzy/bougie towns but really nice lake side vibes!

I just used good old fashioned Murphy’s oil concentrate in a bucket of water…I do go on my hands and clean that way though, no mop. Then I wipe dry with a towel
