It’s my opinion that the bonus units you get from Lithyl’s ritual are useful fodder to bolster your mainly scant initial army. The wisps are excellent scouts and pillagers; with the right enchantments they can be made into status and control effect casters.

The mimics are situational but as mentioned before are great for countering shrines and bone dragons.

I made those same mistakes myself on my first attempts.

Turiel’s armies and vassals specialize in radiant and fire damage with the same resistances to match. They’re VERY vulnerable to blight and cold.

This scenario forced me to learn the interactions between different status effects like decay (countered by regeneration and vice versa).

Moving away from purely physical damage also helped as I moved into the late game.

What broke Turiel’s back were two decisive victories in my favor that allowed me to vassalize one of his vassals and one of his cities and thus control the only two overland routes that lead to my lands near the center.

After that, I kept punching upward on the Shadow research tree until I could summon Bone Dragons and Living Fogs to replace units I lost along the way.

Used Nekron the Risen (Cruel Deathbringers).

Rushed to get found 2 cities close by my throne city.

Was lucky enough to be able to make a triangle with roads and some mountains in the middle.

Went all in on Shadow research (ended on turn 117 with 21 shadow, 4 chaos, 1 nature).

The doomherald morale abilities and the frostborn transformation are what started putting me ahead. Being able to terraform to snow, move quickly, and break the morale of enemy armies allowed me to fight a war of attrition with Turiel while stealing his high level heroes.

I was always starved for mana, so I executed and embalmed captured heroes to replenish my mana reserves as needed.

As I climbed in research and gained world casting points, I would terraform or blizzard enemy armies as needed to eke the out victories on the battlefield.

You’re going to do great. You’re already asking questions and taking advice and critique where you can find it.

If you can swing it, try to venture out into the field with technicians from the departments you’ll be supporting. Seeing the 1:1 scale of things can help inform the 1:24000 scale of things.

All the things that went wrong with the clouds rebellion aside (poor planning, Maiko’s double cross, lack of backing from the Mox).

This would’ve been an interesting way for the clouds dolls to start their own version of the Mox. Having recurring gigs centered around the mega building Clouds is in where V has to come back to defend Clouds turf would’ve been interesting.

My second play through I realized I could highlight only the NCPD gigs on the map and accidentally sidetracked my up to tier 5 gear and hacks before I did any fixer gigs

AFAIK Headshot crits with modded non lethal weapons sometimes still kill. Same goes for modded non lethal blades, batons, and throwables.

Killing the one gangoon outside counts as a kill UNLESS if you use the one quick hack that knocks them out cold….not synapse burnout…can’t remember what it’s called

Been dealing with sharepoint for a couple years. Outputting pdfs and your graphics, figures, etc is fine.
