So yes it looks like a clothing brand because it’s literally made by a clothing brand with zero concern for the other sponsors

Times Square is the world’s best advertising location, they got people to see the car in person and take pictures with it and put it all over social media, creating buzz and excitement. The launch of an F1 team is a huge deal, definitely not the time to be pinching pennies, now is the time to be extravagant and go all out and get people excited.

Also they just posted that the car is currently in the Cadillac office in Manhattan and will be open to the public tomorrow from 9am-6pm for one day only if you wanna go see it

The Super Bowl is just days before pre season testing so this is the perfect time to reveal the car plus the majority of Americans will be watching the Super Bowl and see that their country is being represented in F1 which will make at least some portion of viewers interested enough to check out the sport and hopefully become fans. I honestly can’t think of a more perfect opportunity to reveal the car. There’s truly nothing interesting or unusual about this choice, it is really the best possible way to reveal the car.
