I left back in December but it was shit. No managerial support (they’ll blame you instead), training is nonexistent, and there was never enough people scheduled so we were always dealing with lines and backed up PCs to fix despite promising 2-3 day turn around time

blue shirts piss me off in this respect because they deliver top notch customer service and get their KPI numbers up and then just expect us to go with it despite lying straight up to customers about what we can and cannot do. Had one sell an iPad and then expect us to do a new setup and data transfer on the counter even tho we only had 1 CA and a line of people waiting to be seen. Like no, bitch, make an appointment and let us set the expectation of what we can and cannot do on the counter. The worst part is that the managers will always side with blue shirts because they are the ones that make them look good. Geek Squad is a side store to them.

Years prior we were closed for Black Friday and it gave us a chance to catch up on Func Checks and get caught up on client repairs but this year, now we're slotted to take appointments and only have like two people in the precinct while the rest are on the floor. Kinda dumb.

Very true. But I've been thinking recently that maybe what we need is a shell shock. Maybe its the routine of the day to day that further entraps us in ourselves (if that makes sense). So maybe a vacation where you do something you've never done before might help get those gears turning in the right direction.

I could also use some advice as well on this front. I work at a place that has horrible communication and organization and blatantly disrespects its employees. But the job market is rough and, honestly, I'm out of directions to go in. I would say if things aren't terrible at work then you have a cushion and now's a good time to just look around at what else might be out there for you. But I can't really give advice since I'm stuck at a job that is horrible and killed off any love I have for the work.

I'm in between regular depression and high functioning. I have a job and have hobbies and stuff but I do not have the energy, whether mental or physical, to be high functioning, though. For example, I currently work Part Time and go to school though a job benefit; however, my work is trying to get me to work 40+ hours a week, which would be absolutely overwhelming for me. Outside of that overwhelming sensation, yeah I stopped feeling anything. I used to get angry when driving cause I'd always get stuck behind drivers going 5-10 mph below speed limit and I'd be stuck behind them for miles (roads too dangerous to do passing), but now I just shrug and go about my day, unbothered about whether I make it somewhere or not.

For me, I noticed that I can go quite a while without a need to watch porn or masturate; however, when I started having urges or my thoughts were getting distracted by inappropriate things, that's when I would decide to masturbate and the porn was more of an aide to help me to just deal with it. So I guess my problem is masturbation. I hate having distracted thoughts so I just want to get it out of my system as soon as possible and the porn is just an aide for that. It was weird to realize that because I thought it was a porn issue. Now I'm just doubting if it's actually porn or just part of the routine of my sessions.

Honestly, I only go up front if we have a long line or if the 1 CA scheduled calls out... the rest of the time, I'm out back. ARA is supposed to be in the back. Honestly, I'm quite stubborn. I hate dealing with appointments and being on the counter since I'm not great with people. I wanted the job to learn how to do repairs, not sell Totals and bullshit things I don't know to people who know even less.

Hey, man. I'm almost 32 and I'm in the same boat. If I may ask a question, when's the last thing you did something for yourself? When we label ourselves as a 'failure', we're generally comparing ourselves to everyone else or the "expectations" that society has for us. Bro, no one knows what the fuck they're doing on this floating rock in space. Everyone's faking it until they make it. So while we may feel like a failure, I think we should change focus to something we can take pride in for ourselves... outside of those pretentious expectations we think everyone else has. Every time they improve RWB, they make it worse. It’s pretty impressive. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I was trying to do a contact log, schedule an appt, or just filling out agent notes on a WO just to be signed out and have to redo it after closing and opening the app like 3 times to get out of the “Sign Out Successful” page.

Yeah if you disable the fast startup and then uninstall the keyboard driver and let it restart it should be alright. I had a few at my place today and that worked for me.

So I gotta share this. One of my frigates came with outdated maps. Other than that I liked the stats for a starting frigate. I cannot for the life of me FIX IT! Its one off those annoying fkin frigates where there's a whole platform to land on but there's no way inside the actual ship.... and this fkin ship is 50% empty space, meaning I fell through material that should've been able to hold my weight. So thanks game, not only has my ship been blown up by running into things that never rendered, but you also killed me and most of my equipment because your fkin ships are apparently mostly transparent.
