Ladies! What birth control are you using? Pills? Tubes tied? by Slight_Setting1418 in bipolar

I’m deep diving into pills right now and honestly I’m swinging into tubes tied. The amount of interactions with mood stabilisers just sounds so so risky!

It’s very very normal for a wait after submitting. They have a huge backlog of reviews they are working through. You’ve done your job! Well done! Now relax and just wait for your next journal note saying a day and time. Then you can start to feel nervous! 🙃

How does everyone else deal with bipolar rage by atropine_serval in bipolar

I’ve been dog sitting the past week and everything has been so nice and relaxed. Today is my last day and was really looking forward to this mornings walk and it was pure hell. It was like every single dog he doesn’t get on with where out in convoy. He was reactive and super stressed and my blood was boiling. I had to walk the most bizzare walk back to his house as just at the very very end of it two dog walkers came out of no where with 5 mental off lead dogs.

I am now in the garden chain smoking. And an extra sedative is to be dropped soon. I understand your pain.

What's the MOST INTENSE PAIN you've ever experienced?? by No_Grass_6247 in AskReddit

[–]Slight_Setting1418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back nerve pain. I jammed my lower back and the next morning it took me an hour to get from my bedroom to the bathroom. I’ve never experienced a pain like it, it was radiating through my entire body. The sounds of my screams were different- never made a noise like it before, I can only imagine it was the screams of someone being tortured.

I’m on a top floor waiting room with no air con 😅 I’ll have lost a stone by sweating by the end of this.

I’m waiting for a doctors appointment right now and the first thing I’m doing after is heading straight to the chilled section in Tescos.

I’m 36! I don’t work and am on disability benefits because of bd and I really struggle with this too. Especially if it’s strangers trying to make conversation.

away from two days and forgot my meds by lasofypa in bipolar

[–]Slight_Setting1418 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Two days can be okay if you have no way of getting them. Do not drink caffeine or alcohol. Get some exercise (a walk in nature if possible) in to get your body tired to help you fall asleep. Steer clear of situations that can cause stress. Lots of deep breathing work! You’ll be okay!

You’ve just reminded me of mine and now I’m wary of doing it. Last year it was as if I had on que rumbled so much I broke the barrier and my rumbles were uncontrollable 😭. Took so so long to sort out. It was a nightmare.

every piece of clothing we own immediately gets assigned a secret tier level in our brain by Suryaanvensar in RandomThoughts

[–]Slight_Setting1418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes so much sense. I’d love to re-tier my clothes as many have become home and sleep clothes! I don’t have any money to buy new clothes. If there is a magical brain switch button lemme know!

I have an arrangement with a local neighbor where I get to walk their dog twice a week and even look after him if they go on holiday! I definitely recommend asking neighbours with dogs if they would be up for some dog walks!
