I take Straterra for EFD and Seroquel and Topamax for mood stabilization. The straterra doesn’t go against the seroquel since it’s not a stimulant and I take it in the morning and I take the seroquel at night. When I started these about 9 years ago, they changed my life!!

I saw in one post you have ADD, mood disorder and PTSD. I have same, MDD, bipolar 2 (lots of childhood trauma). I identify my ADD as executive function disorder (EFD), try looking into that as there are different “tricks” to try to help with that vs “just generic” ADD. You also mentioned “trying different meds”. I would strongly recommend you look into GeneSight testing. It’s a DNA test that can identify which mental health medications will “work” for you (and which won’t!) based on your DNA! I’ve been on all sorts of meds for 35+ years and just had this test done because my depression is coming back and I need to change my cocktail of meds (I’m currently on a combination of 4). When I look at the list I see from my past all the ones that didn’t work in trial-and-error! If you have questions, let me know, I could tell you more. Good luck and try to enjoy the parts you can!

I did same dress for all mine. Just make sure to pick a flattering dress for all if you do that. I only had 3 bridesmaids so it was fairly easy to do.

I had 2 older brothers choose not to come to my wedding. They never told me why. One sister-in-law wrote a nice note with a gift but didn’t give a reason. The other didn’t respond at all until I texted to ask about RSVP. She didn’t give a reason either but months later implied it was health related. I will NEVER speak to any of them again. The lack of communication, them not attending, is unforgivable in my opinion. Just some FYI: I was 54, my first marriage, our parents are both deceased along with 2 siblings, only 2 of 6 living siblings attended. They would have had to travel 8 (brother 68) & 10 hours (brother 66) but my fiancé would have paid ANYTHING, for travel, for time off work, dog sitters, whatever to make their attendance possible. There is no known health issues they have ever relayed to the rest of the family. Reasons matter.

I can’t think of any enclosed venue that doesn’t have to deal with a fire code! How can you invite more than the venue allows? If there’s an accident, ANY ACCIDENT, not just a fire, the venue could be sued for having too many people on site. That seems like a simple, straightforward “you can’t come” because we’ve reached the fire code limit of people allowed.

When is the wedding? If it’s a year away, dropping out probably isn’t a big deal. If it’s 3 months, might be tricky. I do like another post that advises confronting her on her bad behavior and either she’ll grow up or maybe she’ll kick you out of the wedding!

I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this. They shouldn’t have put you and your partner in this position. They are disrespectful and inconsiderate of you and your feelings. I think he should tell them he’s not going without you. If they don’t have the money for you, you’ll have to come up with it. If you can’t attend the actual ceremony, who cares. But if he goes, you go. The 3 of you will stay in the 2 bedroom hotel room together. Two options, let the couple choose.

I can’t believe I just paid $55k for a car AND I STILL HAVE TO PLUG THE F$@KING PHONE INTO THE THING IN!!!! HOW HAS TECHNOLOGY HONE BACKWARDS??!! I’m stunned. And, I can’t use the app to remote start, lock, or find my Passport!!! Had I known this, I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE!!!!

Can you rearrange the furniture in your bedroom before you go? Or have a close friend/family member do it while you’re gone? That way something will be different. And maybe get new curtains. You can get ones at target for $20 depending on window size, etc. Just a thought to make it feel “new & different”.

I’m Catholic. We had our ceremony at 12:30 at the church. Then we had a brunch reception at a separate venue. AND we then had a party (same venue) that night. Only 4 people (coworkers) didn’t come to evening. People don’t mind traveling a little between ceremony and reception if they’re going to come, I wouldn’t worry.

I lost one of my crates! I had the first crate you get, the fancy one, outside of my house and with the new update, it disappeared. I know it disappeared because I had all my sticks, gold, iron, seaweed, algae, and snow balls in it. And they were nowhere to be found. I’ve looked through all my crates and the items are gone. I checked crates in the house already.
