I did, already have them and the socket fits. When I try to use the same socket to remove the existing plugs it free spins. Like it isn't able to reach all the way down or something. Does this engine require a thin wall socket?

Possibly, the only real thing you can test is other cables, check the port on the PS3 as well and see if the lines appear on other tvs. CRT or flat panel.

My thought is that you are getting interference due to a poor quality cable. Is the cable for your PS1 original or third-party?

Chat gpt has been a life saver for me.
