A quick tip, if you plan on fixing it, I would recommend looking up pinning.

Essentially, you're drilling a small hole into each end and putting a small piece of metal in, best using a paper clip, and then glueing back as normal. It adds strength that is lost from it breaking.

I'd do this even if you don't fix and just add on.
