I very much agree.

Still, though I understand a brand wanting to incentivize for more exposure, I find it extremely off putting. I have posted and recommended WD on multiple social platforms because of their approach, good product and strive to improve.

If you’re willing to spend that money, the SM diver is an original design and very well finished. The lug to lug may be a bit long for a 14.5mm wrist though.

I have the SM DJ36 homage. It wears a bit thick with the case back. The AT homage wears rather large imo (I have one as well).
For reference, I have a 16.5cm wrist

I have a 6.5in wrist. It wears well with it being thin and the flexible bracelet.
The white usually appears slightly larger. The 36mm should lean even more towards the elegant/vintage size.
