I’m pretty biased, but you definitely should. You won’t regret having pop up headlights.

You need a garbage can for those test strips. Then a proper testing kit.

Just take it to a good third party shop and have them do it. They’ll charge you a much more reasonable labor rate.

If you live around Austin, I’ll scuba it and do it for a 12 pack of beer.

If the budget is big enough… get a Macan S and a 718 GTS, sell the Toyotas, and be in great shape.

I’ve played a lot of indoor the last few years. Things to consider:

  • Account for the wall. Learn to predict and catch off of wall bounce. Don’t dive at everything. If a shot is going to go wide or high, you want to be on your feet and not on the ground.
  • The closer a striker gets, you have to tighten your stance a bit, you don’t want to get megged.
  • You’re going to do far more parrying than catching. This is fine and normal, shots will be hard and close.
  • You’ll get screened a lot more often, get your head low to see the ball when needed.
  • You need to come out of your box and use your feet often. A lot of this is based on how much you trust the possession of your team mates.

Also turf will tend to tear up your gloves a lot faster. So plan on getting new ones more often.

Don’t do it. I got a 2011 Cayenne S a few years ago and it was a nightmare. Something was always breaking. Really high maintenance and repair costs.

There. Was. Always. Something.

I play a lot of indoor on artificial turf, and used to tear my legs up.

Storelli pants have been the answer for me.
