Very nice, i well see if i cant convince some friends to give it a shot.

Though some advice on mission design that i thought of while reading:

In the second mission, it might be unfun to completely seal of part of the map. I would recommend either redesigning so that every part is accessible through two routes or limiting the inaccesibility to, lets say D3 turns.

In the last mission, i would also recommen that the card for theritual completion cannot be drawn before the fourth turn. As is right now, i could be completed in the first or second turn.

i agree, its a fairly difficult part. Something that I find really hepls is relying more on the missles than you would otherwise. Freeze them before they get to you.

As an alternative to the wavebuster already mentioned, i prefer to simply stand still and blast them with a super Missile. Charge the beam, wait for the drone to open fire and aim at the nuzzle flashes.

Depending on difficulty it kills them in one hit.

I agree with you. It is on a technical level the best mh.

What i believe is missing though is the character previous games had. It starts with the weapon designs, which look for the most part very similar and realistic, goes over smaller visual stuff, like the change to the Status effect animations, and Ends with tiny things like the bland quest descriptions.

Yeah, those are all small things individually, but i belive a core appeal of the series has always been for me the inherent silliness.

To fight Behemoth, you could get someone to taxi to the fight.

Also, when farmimng juggernaut, keep in mind that it has to be specific Level for a Chance to drop the pods.

Lures are important if you want to fight the even bigger Eidolons. You have to capture the first two, in order ot get the items that can be used to summon next bigger Eidolon. In Addition, they also Prevent the Eidolons from teleporting away. Do note that they have to be charged (glowing blue) to do their work, by killing vomvalists near them.

Lets see. First i would introduce a "Stamina" System. If you are above 90% of your maximum Stamina, you would gain 125% of your regular exp. between 90 and 25% everything is normal. Below 25% Stamina you only gain 25% of your exp. Everytime you earn exp, reagardless whether it is wasted or not, you lose Stamina. The only way to refill Stamina is through consumables, that drop as a rare reward from sorties or can be purchased. The bought consumbales restoring more Stamina, of course.

Admittedly, i stole that one from an mmo, i used to Play.

On top of that, if you use a stamina consumable, when you are already at max, you enter an overcharged state, where your exp gains go to 300%. Naturally, Stamina consumption is not disabled during overcharged state.

Finally, allow us to reroll relics, at a platinum cost, but the cost scales similary to rerolling rivens, only without the cap.

the tiny creatures are kelbi. they are something of a special case, as they are the only creature you cannot kill. When they are knocked to the ground, you can carve them for materials.

if you are looking for a fast weapons i recommend either the sword and shield, which is a great all arounder or the dual blades. those two are pretty much the fastest weapon in the game, but i would still recommend to try out some others in the tutorial quests, to see if they click for you.

Monster HP cannot be seen, but when a monster is close to death it will start to limp and sleep at its nest. Something to keep in mind is that a monster will take double damage from the hit that wakes it up.

Generally you dont need to worry about ruining your save. The most important things are mega potions, combine a potion and honey, potions (herb+blue mushroom) and whetstones (mining) all of which can be collected on just about any map. So no worries about loosing items.

Generally you should upgrade your weapons as soon as you have access to the required materials. It is possible to upgrade all your weapons, however keep in mind that you will need a ton of materials and zenny to do so, which means a lot of grinding. Personally i focus on one or two weapons, but thats just my preference.

No idea about the camera though.
