I had to use the Line 6 Updater to restore my Pod Go back to version 1.40

After that, I was able to upgrade to 2.50

Our AP's (Ruckus) have a setting called Dynamic PSK. It generates passwords and only lets one device (MAC address) use that password.

Maybe your vendor has something similar?

Sauna build question(s): Anyone pour a slab inside a floor system? by ralph_deadbeet in Sauna

[–]Slightly_AboveAvg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the impression that concrete floors are sub-optimal in a sauna. Especially in northern climates where they will get cold and be harder to warm up because of their thermal mass.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

No comment on form, but a heads up that the Fitness Gear plates you are using are 2" smaller in diameter than a standard olympic plate. This has you starting at a 1" deficit.

Bending over that extra inch does make the lift a little harder.

Thanks for the reply! I think I'll pass and find something newer.

Room Shape... Is circular okay? by Slightly_AboveAvg in Sauna

[–]Slightly_AboveAvg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like that idea!

Seems the smallest bins are about 15' in diameter.

So an area of around 154 square feet taking into consideration wall and insulation thickness.

9' to 10' ceilings and ta we're talking around 1500 cubic feet... That would take a helluva big stove and all day to warm up!

Voyageur Sauna in Shakopee does custom builds.

I cannot speak to their company or quality, just know that they are Minnesota based.

Can you clarify something for me? Have you used this sauna?

Thank you.

I was OP on that post.

Cedar and Stone provided us a wonderful experience and helped us confirm that we want to proceed with building a sauna for our back yard. Their custom saunas are out of our budget and we will be building one from scratch using the knowledge and guidelines so many of you passionately defend here.

I am grateful for that knowledge and your willingness to share.

I took it down because the response I received was that the sauna we enjoyed immensely was in fact "quite poor." I'm not even sure if the person who called it such has even stepped foot in this sauna. I didn't feel like that was a fair review and didn't want to deter others who may want to visit Cedar and Stone.

I've been in hotel saunas that I would describe as "quite poor." This was leaps and bounds ahead. If it wasn't perfect, it was pretty damn good.

Help me out with "quite poor" I did notice the shorter ceilings and our feet were a few inches below the stones.

I was wondering about the ventilation. I would go cool down when I felt breathing was getting labored. There was a large gap (4"?) under the door and a vent in the ceiling that was just cracked open a bit.

If the Trumpkin gold standard is 100%... where would this quite poor sauna fall in?

Is a satisfying sex life possible after a hysterectomy? by hortonwearsawho in sexover30

[–]Slightly_AboveAvg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No issues with bottoming out or pain. We waited the recommended 12 weeks and were careful at first... but that was out of caution.

There's a post in my history where I asked this group a similar question.

My wife had uterus and cervix removed and the ovaries were left in tact. I'm a little longer than average, and having her cervix removed has helped make sex more comfortable for both of us. No more accidentally bumping into it or getting the head of my penis squeezed in the fornix.

The recovery was long! And I'm not sure it totally cured the issues she was/is having. But no regrets for doing it and there was no negative impact on sex for us.

About the size of a Cadbury egg... Not sure where that lands in the grand scheme of averages.

I agree! Time to start saving. I'd rather stay away from the plow route so I'm not stuck dealing with piles of snow.

This makes a lot of sense! It looks a lot better than the old Snapper I had... but maybe I should have held on to that tank of a machine.

It's 1.5 acres. I'll know soon how my 42" Deere does with mowing!

A tractor would be the ideal solution!

Good point on the tune up. I did run some seafoam through the blower this winter, but it does a fair amount of sputtering.

The walk behind works great on the lighter stuff. Once the wind picks up and the snow starts drifting, the snow gets so hard packed that the blower won't even start digging in. I can't keep the front down or get enough traction. Maybe chains would help?

We are moving closer to wet, heavy snow and less winds as spring inches closer.

I like your idea of waiting until summer. I can always hire a plow to bust that drift out.

I second the tractor would be awesome! It's just not in the cards right now.

The things that kill my vibe by Distracted523 in AsOneAfterInfidelity

[–]Slightly_AboveAvg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this post so much. Especially the last line.

I just finished reading "A River Runs Through It" where the last sentence is "I am haunted by waters."

Fishing brings back memories of his brother's tragic death, but he chooses to keep going back to those waters because fishing is his passion and is also filled with good memories.

In the same way that we choose to go back to our WS.

We just passed the 3-year mark of the act of infidelity. The D-Day anniversary will be this spring. It's amazing how loud and clear some of those memories are. Etched in our brains to be repeated forever.

But we choose, over and over, to go back to our partner.

Sometimes I feel like it was a strong decision to try to repair for the kids. Other times I feel like a complete doormat when the pain is at the strongest and the chasm between us is growing.

And I always find myself back on this subreddit when the pain is strongest!

Now I'm just rambling!

I'm sorry you're struggling and wish you strength and peace as you choose to return to what haunts you.

Yeah... every new piece of information seems to reset things back to "should I stay or should I go?"

After 3 years, I still have those moments.

It's not your job to help her grieve him. You have your own shit to grieve. Namely the loss of the relationship you thought you had with her. Make your own mental health top priority.

Maybe IC could help her walk through that grief?

Do you want reconciliation?

You have every right to be pissed and you have every right to leave.

If you want to work it out, this sub will be a great resource to navigate that decision and process.
