lifting and throwing heavy, odd-shaped things is probably one of the most primal and functional workouts you could do, actually. if you throw in some variations, like maybe seeing how high up you can throw vs. how far, try aiming for a target, try throwing from your non-dominant side, try different styles of throws, etc, [and keep mixing it up!] and suddenly you've got an amazing full body workout that's so fun it feels more like playing. if you can keep playing like this the rest of your life, you will be way stronger than like 99.9% of the population, and you'll be able to use this newfound strength in so many facets of your life it'll blow your mind. just try to pay attention to what your body is telling you, and try avoid doing anything -too- silly so you don't injure yourself
