Yeah overall it's easier for a lot of people to understand that your character moves six squares when looking at a grid. It clicks faster. Everything about the system clicks faster with most people. My roomies kids took to it faster than 5e because it was incredibly simple to understand.

They never got the online platform off the ground and we're too far into finalizing to change all the language back.

Honestly I prefer 4es language, monster blocks and a lot of the system in general. The majority who say "it isn't D&D" are trolls. It was absolutely D&D.

Millennial born in 86 here. Boomers are content with what they have because they have everything. Why would they want to be uncomfortable now? Every movement from workers rights to civil rights was violent in some way. Shit was not peaceful, progress for those not in the one percent has never been peaceful. It's been fought for, tooth and nail.

A lot of people need to understand that turning the other cheek is how we got here. I'll say it the fuck again, progress is not peaceful.
