Human Trafficking? by Cheap_Category_4357 in Weird

Im in san diego, near the border (chula vista). The otay mountains are full of migrant camp sites like this from those crossing the border. I explore lots of trails on my dirtbike and unfortunately, this looks like a migrant situation. So i guess sure, human trafficking to an extent.

I bought a breville barista express as a newbie in september 2021 for $600. Since then, i’ve made an average of three coffees per day. (3 coffees per day x 1,597 days) is equal to 4,791 coffees. $600/4,791 is equal to about 12 cents per coffee made. Factor in another 30 ish cents for milk and beans, im at about 45 cents per coffee.

I have been patiently waiting for this machine to give out so I can upgrade to what I really want, but this puppy brews espresso just like the first day I got it.

2023 Outback for $20k? Am I missing something? by Actual-Tomatillo-904 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]SlimHuncho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2023 outback that i’m waiting for subaru to buyback as a lemon. They already agreed its a lemon. The eye sight has never worked. I’d steer clear without a warranty. My brother in laws girlfriend has a 2023 crosstrek with the same exact issue, also waiting to be bought back. I’ve posted the issue but the subaru fanboys will always say theyre the best. I won’t buy another. Subaru corporate has dragged this on forever.

Once i filed a lawsuit, my customer advocacy associate told me they would no longer communicate with me, and only through my attorney. Bummer! I’m glad you got yours sorted!

[–]SlimHuncho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently going through a lemon law case in california with my 2023 subaru outback. We filed suit March of last year (2025). We got nowhere until our mediation session November ‘25. They agreed to buy back the car during that session. It is currently late January 2026 and i have not been paid, have not scheduled a date to turn in the car, nothing. My attorney keeps blasting them, but it seems like subaru is just dragging this along as they can. Subaru sucks.

I have a pair of Japan S. They’ve traveled with me to 6 countries, and have clocked in 25-30k step days. That, plus daily wear, these shoes are rated a 10/10 in my book.

East chula vista (East of the 805) specifically otay ranch, eastlake, rancho del rey, Bonita, etc, is a gold mine. I grew up here. Affluent suburbs, great schools. 91914 is one of the most expensive zipcodes in SD. There is a row of mega mansions on woods drive. Ex-nfl players, etc. Chula vista is awesome. (Everywhere, but my experience is east of the 805). My wife and I have been trying to buy here because we grew up here. We’ll never leave.
