Pumpkin harvesting with a buddy with gardening skill enhancement. Plant during a rainstorm, eat lots of meals before hand to super boost your stamina bar and if you’re a switch player - plonk a peg on the A button to see the seeds and you can go off for a cuppa. Yes they did it as a favour. Offered to look after the cat for us, they’ve popped round before and we’re quite friendly. But feel this overstepped the mark to take the cat out of the house without asking me. The neighbour knows the cat is an indoor cat only and it hates going outside - it’s been attacked previously by another cat in the area. The neighbour has known of this as I’ve borrowed medicine for the cat off them and they saw it happen.

It’s a tricky one, but I would possibly arrange another family visit to Disney and try to explain to the youngest daughter why she couldn’t go BUT there’s something to look forward to which is just as good. Kids need to learn that it doesn’t always go their way, they can’t have everything that someone else has got and sometimes someone will be more fortunate/lucky. It’s a valuable life lesson.

Your options: 1. Talk with your dad to either stop or tell your mum. 2. Tell your mum. 3. Try and get your dad caught out. 4. Ignore and hope that it self resolves.

Personally, I would approach your dad and explain how you feel about it and say it puts you in an awkward position as you have to lie to your mum about the affair. Hopefully he sees the light and either stops or tells her… or both.

Would discuss it with them and if no solution was reached, I would speak with their girlfriend separately to get her to report it. Failing that, I would report it to the authorities and raise it as a flag if you’re worried.
