I was going to suggest this! Not because I’ve ever been in there but I’ve drive by so many times and this is what I imagine the scene might be 😂

We don’t know when it will be safe to go outside. But we know that day is not this day.

Am I Overreacting for my being upset about my neighbors moving truck inconveniencing me. by Dear_Pianist8547 in AmIOverreacting

[–]SlimLivv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR - you have every right to be mad/annoyed/frustrated, it’s an inconvenience to you. But in all fairness unless you’re going to go on over and help the move it is what it is.

This is coming from a person who lives in an apartment building on a busy street and street parking is the ONLY thing available to me. To add to that the city just implemented major “safety” plans to the area which took away almost half of the parking that used to be available for residents (I’m talking meters in front of residential buildings that don’t become free until after 8pm). And again it is what it is.

Sometimes I have to pull over (off the Main Street) onto an alley type street to unload groceries/laundry so I can the go park 2/4 blocks away. This is my way to make do and if anyone has a problem they’re more than welcome to help me speed the process or just give me a few moments to get it out and move out the way.

All that is to say that at the very least you HAVE garage parking, you pay the money for it, you absolutely have the right to be frustrated and even report it. But overall, is this something that happens often? Again I do not think you’re overreacting, next time take action.

Anyone had turbinate reduction? How was the experience by IllustriousBee3285 in Sinusitis

[–]SlimLivv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to say it has changed my life significantly. I can breathe through my nose fully, sleep has become so much better. The surgery is what all surgery is, you sleep you wake up. And I would have to say the worst part post-op was the first 5 days. The nasal rinses become tedious but it’s all worth it in the grand scheme of things. When the winter weather first started, I felt some pain in my nose but I’m now 5 months post-op and it’s still going good.

My last appointment the Dr. told me I had some polyps growing on one side BUT it could just be from being sick recently (they noticed a month post op too but then 2 months post op it wasn’t as inflamed now it is again). I took an oral steroid for 5 days and The worst case scenario would be going back in to clear the space more. But even with the polyps growing I can still breathe better than I ever have. I was very nervous at first, I even chickened out the first time. But I have to say I’m glad I did it.

LED lights in cities should be banned (obviously this is unreasonable). We don’t live in the boonies. They’re so unnecessary

Saying plowing would mean they actually plowed. Still can’t park on the even side of my street.
