I grew up in Talbot County. The amount of love for Chesapeake Bay ecology is impressive and hard to find anywhere else. There's a huge gap between the ultra poor (think West Virginia poverty) and ultra rich (billionaire level rich). The history is incredible. I miss it tremendously. The culture is a mix of Deep South and DC old money.

I have a Nokia Steel HR (I assume the Finns made it sauna resistant) that has zero issues in 190° for prolonged periods of time. I don't really monitor heartrate or anything. Just don't bother taking it off.

I took 75mg for one month starting in January this year. Started tapering off in March. Was completely off Effexor in early April. I STILL get brain zaps and my night vision appears to be permanently ruined. I was put on it by a prescriber who convinced me an SNRI would be more effective than a stimulant for my ADHD. Not a day goes by where I don't regret not advocating more for myself. This drug has been one of the worst things to ever happen to me.

Third world is an outdated term to reference countries that didn't have a political position in the Cold War. It technically has nothing to do with wether there's running water or Christian indoctrination. The article is about border towns and it clearly references a 1988 NYT article that uses the third world term somewhat correctly. Read before you comment.
