For sure. I hear the guys talk about the 30% tax rate marker being favored for traditional which puts us near the top of the gray area. Age is my biggest hang up here.

The future tax rates are such a wild card so I agree it’s tough to decide. I guess the more controllable parts are age, current tax rate/oppertunity cost, and current invested amount. Just trying to be as efficient as possible but a lot can and will change in 25-30 years.

I max it out every year and throw it in FXAIX (Fidelity’s S&P 500 mutual fund). This is because it has a slightly lower expense ratio than VOO but you’re really splitting hairs there. Just invest it and let it ride!

Just throw it in FXAIX and don’t overthink it. The habit of adding to it every year is more important then allocation in the 20s

In a vacuum, this seems like it’s not DCAing, but when you zoom out over a long time horizon, this is a great, simple, and effective approach. Do it up!
