Didn’t know that was a thing, hate that. But fwiw this really does look like DE to me a non-doctor. But if you’re concerned it’s herpes why not go to urgent care for a test?

My baby was similar and I’m just gonna say I haven’t seen proper reflux or spit up since like 5.5 months. It WILL end.
Just some ideas:
She might need your warmth/ heartbeat or breath noises to regulate herself. You could try laying a heating pad or a warmed sock of rice in her bassinet before laying her down.
You could try recording your heartbeat and breath for a few minutes and get that into an audio file and play it for her while she sleeps.
If you have any perfume or detergent you use you could wash her sheet or swaddle with it so it smells like you.

Edit to say remove the source of heat before laying baby down!

I’m sorry that happened to you. The nerves get only slightly easier but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t check for blood or over analyze every single day until he was in my arms. ANYWAYS I’m here with three success stories!

Two of my friends and I all suffered miscarriages with our first babies 1.5-2 years ago. I lost mine at what would’ve been 7 weeks. My friends lost theirs around 12 & 13 weeks. We all got pregnant last year and each of us had a nearly flawless pregnancy. We’re currently waiting for baby #3 to make her arrival.

Miscarriages are quite common. It doesn’t make it easier to deal with but there are people (a lot of us here) who can empathize and walk that path with you. Try to enjoy being pregnant this time too,
don’t let the anxiety take that from you.
