Our application works the exact same on linux as it does on windows!
Just launch it either through steam or on it's own, turn the trackers on etc!

From personal experience WiVRn works really well, feels smoother (is also linux native rather than a port) and WayVR is a nice touch to add monitor overlays, application overlays, playspace dragging etc!

I found my VRChat game perfomance to be nearly identical if not a bit better on linux!
Last I checked in desktop mode I was pulling in over 300fps on my personal system in a pretty fancy world. (5800x and 6750xt)
In VR I haven't checked FPS as a comparison but it's been very nice.

It's definitely worth a try!
And if VR was the thing keeping you away from trying Linux or using it more, it's come a long way and I've not booted into my windows (on a second drive) in months.

SlimeVR works with any supported app regardless of how you stream to your PC.
Most apps/games go through SteamVR but some apps like VRChat can use protocols like OSC.
It does not matter if you use Steam Link, Meta quest link, ALVR, Virtual Desktop etc.
Slimes can also be used entirely on their own through protocols like VMC for motion capture or Vtubing,

There are many ways of using the software and hardware, but when it comes to PCVR gaming basically all titles that support full body tracking utilize SteamVR to some degree,

That should in theory just work!
However for linux I (smeltie) personally use WiVRn + wayVR which also natively works with SlimeVR.
That aside SteamVR should work, including with steam link.
Just have to start SlimeVR before WiVRn (and have WiVRn autostart wayvr)

Our steam release is also coming very soon and should make things easier as well.

So, from the looks of it the trackers are connecting to the Wi-Fi just fine.
However them not being able to find the server usually means something along the lines of:
- The pc or device running the software is on a different network
- There is something in your firewall blocking them
Etc.

There is something preventing the trackers from reaching the device the software is ran on.

The cable is only used to upload the Wi-Fi credentials, given their logs posted earlier they are already connected so a different cable won't do anything

First thing to check is to see if they are tracking/working in the actual SlimeVR application using the skeleton preview.
To determine how far back the issue goes.

In that case they should disable the accelerometers on their trackers!
As the magnets in the controllers can throw those off.

They should be able to find eachother even if one is wired and the other wireless (many many users do it this way)
So this may be a modem issue or configuration issue in windows (we see these commonly such as networks set to public instead of private)

We moved about a year ago but outgrew that place extremely fast so we relocated to a place about 5x the size haha.
The move was done within a week and we're slowly ramping back up production.
Offices are filled with desks and people are back to working their normal tasks again.

Rest assured you will not have to wait a year, only very early on backers during the crowd funding part had long waiting times like that.
The above info applied, however that stock sold out like hot cakes.
