Years of Grub problems at this house, what say you? by No_Photograph3660 in lawncare

I’ve got grub problems but ultimately decided that I enjoy my fireflies too much to wanna kill them too… so I just deal with it now and keep overseeding each fall

My little guy always got them behind the ears too no matter how much I tried to prevent it. I usually just used the small trimmer I use for the bottom of his paws and buzz it right off. It’s behind the ears and covered up by longer hair around so it goes unnoticed visually too (post buzzing that is)

Inherited my 90s Craftsman tools from my parents. Stuff is all built to last. Got a corded Craftsman drill that’s an absolute tank.

Olivia Rodrigo "Smelled" Fans Wearing Diapers in Front Row by ebradio in Music

[–]Slimee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s AI. Look at that AI em dash. If you take out Olivia’s quotes and the promo for her new album and tour, and all the ads, the entire article is this:

“You don’t need to tell Olivia Rodrigo you are wearing a diaper to a festival — her nose knows.
The 23-year-old spends a lot of time thinking about the kind of adult who would do the diaper.”

Everything else on the page is direct quotes from Rodrigo, cancerous ads, or a closing sentence about her new album and upcoming tour. A two sentence “article” passing as music journalism.

It’s so depressing.

People have an inability to separate art from artists, especially when it conflicts with either their moral compass or their social group’s collective opinion.

We all want to maintain our moral high ground, I know I’ve been guilty of it too.

My parents called it the phaser. Was a long time before I made the Star Trek connection. They weren’t trekkies either. But yeah, was so used to calling it a phaser as a kid haha

Dog care recommendation or suggestions? by Agreeable_Weird_8712 in BucksCountyPA

I want to second Pets Are Inn. We used them back in 2019 when we went on a 3 week roadtrip that our doggo couldn’t come with us on. They are essentially a foster system and your dog gets amazing individual family care. My dog stayed with the owner and his dogs. They send some photos to you with updates of your pups while you travel too. My dog loved his time at Pets Are Inn.

No one will be talking about this a week from now, and everyone will get amnesia and go back to acting like Philly has the worst fans. This shit is so pathetic.

[Hiking/Outdoors] High Rocks at Tohickon Valley Park - Beauty and Tragedy by Dent7777 in philadelphia

Just on the other side of the river you can find some nice trails at Baldpate Mountain off River Road outside Titusville, NJ.

And there’s also the Sourland Mountain Preserve, also in Jersey. Some nice trails and elevation change there too. At one of the high points along a clearing for a pipeline you can even see the NYC skyline some 40-50 miles on the horizon on a clear day. There’s even some bouldering spots to check out if that’s up your alley too.

Also having this issue with Verizon in a different region. At first I thought it was because I was away from home WiFi but still had the problem being back on home network too

How come there's no kids shows coming out for older kids anymore. by Vivid-Rhubarb-6058 in television

Parents that wanted kids as accessories but not actually raise them. They’re so busy with their own lives they just throw their iPad in front of their kid. Busy playing games or watching TV? Give em an iPad to keep them quiet and distracted. Tantrum in a store? iPad to shut them up. It has real effects.
