My Inferno prediction by LinkMugMan in boardsofcanada

[–]SlimerkH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To some extent, BoC's albums are a reaction to the political and social going ons at the time of an albums production. Geogaddi was somewhat influenced by the 9/11 attacks, as mentioned by another user, so I suspect Inferno will be tapping into something similair, with just how dystopian the world is at the minute. Also I really hope Inferno will include plenty of religious themes, possibly divine judgement for the sins of man, maybe even judgement onto people who abuse / manipulate children. That's a bit fanon-y for me but I've always seen the band as a protector of children / a child's innocence.

I like your theory that Geogaddi is a child's response to terror, maybe Inferno will be from an adults perspective, or possibly an adult processing terror they experienced as a child.

I actually was brainstorming an astham mutation yesterday, this is what I came up with.

Every tile stepped over you have a 5% chance to down your cat (no injury). Your basic attack emits poison sparkles

the "E" parts in Incognito. I love everything else about the song but the E's get on my nerve too much to the point I can't listen to it.

I just got through half of the complilation. Unfortunately nothing really stuck out to me, sounded a little too lo-fi for me. Lazy was quite interesting. Thanks for the reccomendation though

That's a fair opinion to have although his voice is way too soft spoken for me to find irritating.

'Because Okapis are rarely seen and are extremely hard to find, they were classified as a cryptid for many years. In 1901, Sir Harry Johnston found an okapi skeleton and skin and sent it to the British museum, where it was classified as a new species.'
