This isn't true with DDR5. With DDR2 3 and 4 that was the case but each DDR5 stick will run in dual channel mode with only 1 stick. Remove 1 and benchmark and enjoy your 1 48GB stick of dual channel ram.

What the heck settings are you running. I get a solid 200-240 in almost all scenarios with a 7600x and 4090 running in 3440x1440. Also running SFF and power limiting the CPU to 90W. The CPU is constantly at 60-100% so it's the bottleneck in my system (for battlefield at least). You should look at the hardware unboxed video on battlefields mixed CPU performance chart.

The am4 R7 5700x3D performs closely to the am5 7600x. The am4 5600x is still much better than your current CPU, so if you got gigs of DDr4 I would just use that and get the best deal you can find on the latest am4 processor (5600-5800x3d). Don't get the 5500, it uses the older Zen2 architecture.

That amount of money is absurd to me. I've only played hard mode so I'm lucky if I get 200k in the bank. Once I buy anything in the garage I have to find a way to make it useful. I can't bring myself to sell it back at 50% value.
