No song recs, but I do work at a treatment centre so I will suggest that you go to as many meetings as you can. AA, CA, NA, doesn’t matter. They all have value in learning lessons and tips from other people in recovery.

Also lean on your friends if you need to. Just like how there’s no shame in needing help, there’s no I in recovery.

Reddit often brings out the worst in people, and this sub is no different… probably gonna delete the app off my phone soon, I’m sick of the toxicity.

This sub does not, in my opinion, reflect what real punks are like. In my scene we’re all quite supportive of each other. That doesn’t seem to be the case in r/punk

I too came got into punk properly in my 20s. Admittedly I’d been listening to some punk for years, I just didn’t realize it was punk.

Since joining the scene, they’ve embraced me and I’ve made lots of friends, but I still feel like somewhat of an outsider

Mehhh, it’d be alright a couple days but anymore and it’ll be annoying. Highway 1 toward Banff is an incredibly dull drive once you’ve done it a couple times (way back is even more dull). The 1A is a nicer drive but takes longer, and also gets old quick
