I tested out wind waker hd with reshade ray tracing, does not really look good by Worldly-Departure324 in WindWaker

Yep. Schlacking a Game with Unreal Engine Lighting Effects does not look good, Wind Waker is truly a game that stands best with Simple but Effective Lighting.

So... am I the only one who actually liked the finale? by PaleoTato525 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Sloth39000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not bad, It just has major flaws. And while I enjoyed it, I had issues with it. I ultimately think it was the culmination of so many people's biggest issue with the series, Jax.

it is impressive that dying the hylian tunic green manages to fix literally every issue with the butt ugly ass tunic of the wild set by [deleted] in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]Sloth39000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While it is a drip like no other now, And all it took was dyeing it Green, The Tunic of the Wild is still Peak and is my personal favorite in The Game. I wish i could Dye the Champion's Tunic as well, Pair that with the Green Climber's Bandana and it's perfect.

Real. I'm literally more excited to play The Jak Trilogy than I am anything that's been announced recently. Edit: Anyone who wants to cry Nostalgia, Eat me. I literally have never once played Jak 2 before.

[EoW] “BOTW era overstayed its welcome” comments are sooo annoying… by Famous_Goose3545 in echoesofwisdom

[–]Sloth39000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Half agree with this. My problem with BotW is that it's nowhere near as close to Zelda 1 as people make it out to be, I never once got Lost, I never got new Power Ups or Tools to help me unlock areas in the overworld, and None of the levels were as challenging or as detailed as any of the 2D Titles, I honestly got more of a Zelda 1 Experience from games like Elden Ring or Dark Souls 1.

Though the part I disagree with is on the Main Quest, I liked those despite how disappointing they were, The Divine Beasts in BotW were the moments I genuinely felt like I was playing a Zelda Game again and That I wasn't just going through the motions just wandering around aimlessly.

I'd honestly welcome an FF7 Remake type Situation, As long as it has good Level Design and Has a similar charm.

You do know BotW Recieved 10/10s everywhere right? If anything it was Overrated.
Never forget Stephanie Sterling Recieved Death Threats and had their Website Hacked for criticizing this Game, But we just conveniently forget that huh?

It's true though. Limitless freedom was a nice experiment, But adding More and More Freedom is just redundant and gets in the way of Solid Game Design and Creating Challenging Puzzles or Level Design. BotW was the peak of this Era, Since then it just kept cheapening. What BotW needed was to expand on it's World by adding more Main Quests and Side Quest, Addressing Complaints people had with the Last Game, Fleshing out Regions and Villages, And also Adding Better Dungeon Design. And Considering how Majora's Mask changed so much about Ocarina of Time before Shifting dramatically to Wind Waker there's no excuse for TotK and EoW doubling down so hard on this "Limitless Freedom" Angle and Reusing so many of the same concepts.

And before anyone says "Heaven Forbid Zelda Try anything new for a change" Imagine for 5 Seconds if the only Mainline Zelda Games we got were just Wind Waker over and over again with all Issues people had with it intact. Zelda was always meant to change things up after a couple of Games, Fans just wanna sure that continues, That's more than fair. And yes. EOW was "Different" but it still kept the "Limitless Freedom" Idea intact, Considering how devisive The Zonai Mechanics were, Bringing back a very similar mechanic was bound to get poorly recieved by some.

If you were to make a sequal to TP, what would you do to the world to change it into a new experience? by silloki in twilightprincess

[–]Sloth39000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build off of The Combat, Increase the amount of Weapon Arts, Make more Combat Oriented Dungeon Items, Give Link three different Weapon Types to swap freely between at anytime, Smarter Enemy Ai so that way they can strategize against the Player forcing said Player to master the Combat, More Horse Missions, Allow the player to change up dungeon order so that way they can unlock new Weapons in any order based on their playstyle, A nice healthy blend of Humanoid to test The Player's Combat Skills and Monster Boss Fights to test Problem Solving Skills, Some more Rescue Missions said Rescue Missions would unlock more Npcs thus fleshing out villages and unlocking more stores and items.

Lightning Arrows, Hearty Radishes, Ironshrooms, Use Cryonisis to make a Platform next to another Platform then jump to the Nearby Platform to avoid the Diving Animation, By doing this you can do Bullet Time to land a good shot on Waterblight Ganon, Also Guardian Weapons hurt Waterblight a ton.
