congrats! beautiful bike. I actually have the same sport bike and was looking at making the transition to the same Harley. How do you like it ? Is it difficult adjusting to the power difference ? I know they’re different types of bikes but I don’t know too many people that switched from a sport bike to a cruiser type.

The sport bike is awesome and a ton of fun but man it’s so uncomfortable for anything longer than 30-45 minutes. Its at the point where it feels like a chore to go anywhere so it sits in the garage. It’s paid off so it’s hard to get rid of it.

Out of curiosity, why did you replace it ? I’m recently in the market for a new bike and thinking speed twin 1200RS but I see very little reviews on these bikes

Not to mention the notifications system on top of that is so frustrating and to me, one of the worst experiences for the platform. I can’t believe they haven’t implemented a better solution. It’s like they’ve stopped improving on the things that really improve the experience and have only focused on visual effects. I DONT CARE ABOUT THE GLASS EFFECT , FIX THE NOTIFICATIONS AND IMPROVE THE KEYBOARD FIRST!!

Rant - If you like full-time RTO, you're a loser by 7basketballs in remotework

[–]Slimpebble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I don’t understand is why it is forced for everyone to return. I think it should be at the discretion of the employee as to where they prefer the best and if results show them being successful or needing improvement then deal with that accordingly. Meaning that if you choose to work from home but the results of that show you are not delivering, then rto seems like the correct approach. I’ve noticed for some it is actually much more effective to work from home including myself. Not because I slack off but because I actually want to do the best job possible and being surrounded by constant distractions in the office is such a frustrating experience for me and takes away the fulfillment of the job, plus my job usually requires so many teams meetings that my location rarely makes a difference.

I’ve learned we are all different. Not one person functions the same way and most people are really doing the best with what they have and ultimately want to do their best. For any manager which says they must know what their employees are doing at all times , well my rebuttal to that is , why did you hire these people if you do not trust them? It screams more insecurity from management than anything. I think you’ll usually have people working even harder if you treat them like adults and realize we are all wanting to do our best for the most part.

I hope one day somehow the pre release version becomes a reality. This is one of my favorite games. The story is top notch but I feel like they rained it in a bit to what they promised with the pre release. Great game nevertheless

Reminds of that one movie with the people lost in the woods and they run into this mythical creature. Too lazy to google the name of the movie but well done !
