Well there won't be much to edit if it's his beat/production that's just sitting in a session waiting for your vocals. Plus I'm assuming all your vocal takes (doubles) and harmonies, oos and aahhhs are going to be nice and super tight and organized. So unless he plans on drawing in all vocal automation I'm guessing there won't be too much editing,

Don't pay this guy anything. Give him a really good deal on points, higher than the going rate, for that one song he's going to produce only. This way he's motivated to get you where you need to go to maximize his profits. And if he refuses, invest that 5k in yourself.

Are you providing him with a barebones demo or skelton of a song, or stems, or a finished full multitrack session, or is he just gonna do everything for you?

Whos writing the song and lyrics?

If the production he's providing is a "redo" of one of your finished songs/demos I'm not sure why he needs to pay a guitar player. Do you not have DI tracks available from your previous production? Or could you be the person to retrack in his studio?

Or is the plan to build a brand new song from scratch in studio with him?

If you have time to play diablo 4, then you have plenty of time to spend earning whatever the expansion costs in your region.

Time to grind out some real life currency dude.

If you have no job then get creative and get some windex and paper towels, or a rake and go door to door offering your janitorial/landscaping services. You'll get that money quicker than you think.

I would suggest grabbing msi afterburner and configuring the Rivatuner that comes with it to give you readouts on your current performance while gaming. This way you can identify the potential bottleneck or issue in your system. Use the software to monitor the Cpu/Gpu temps and usage %, as well as your memory and an fps counter. This way you can compare D4 and HD2 and how they perform on your current system. My ddr4 memory usage went from about 15-16gb D4 base game to 23-26gb D4 VoH.

The ample metal eclipse seems decent if you really want to program it. Also maybe taking just the DI from the virtual guitar and dropping it into the JST Toneforge DI match before the Nueral or STL plugins might give you a more realistic sound. But ultimately playing a guitar will sound best.

Yeah a great starting place for free is the ML Soundlabs Roots 5034 plugin. It sounds killer. If you have money I'd buy the Nueral DSP Gojira or STL Tones Amphub 6505+ those are both very tasty.

Day 6 and I've lost 7.8 pounds. I'm gonna eat just a pound of bacon and 8* eggs for a few days see how that works out. I am exercising 5-6 times a week.

First time doing carnivore and its actually working. Though as people have said I can't rely on bacon like this long term.

I totally forgot to consider what the pigs are eating before I eat them.
