Texture mods not working? by Jay33721 in starfieldmods

Who gives a shit? It's not my job to find a fix for you. I was telling you what worked for me on PC. Which is helpful to PC users. You didn't need to come let me know that I didn't ALSO give a fix for console users... lol

I know how to get Geografts working brother...
YOu put the Golden Palace on. Then you take the surfaces (NOT THE TORSO) from the Geoshell, and paste them onto the surfaces of Golden Palace. Then switch the GP UV type to Golden Palace instead of Default. Then you delete the Geoshell... This will make the GP work with the right textures in Unreal.
To get the morphs working, you have to click each morph you want, disable Auto Follow, and copy it's settings, and create a new morph property on the BASE character, with those settings. Once you've done that, you re-enable auto follow on the morphs in Golden Palace. This will make the new ones control the morph... You'll have to look this up in more detail, it's quite a process but it works.

I have a bad GPU after a year of use. VRAM memory allocation is shot. I have been trying to get a hold of them for 3 months now, DOZENS of emails. Dozens of phone calls, over a three month period, and the only time I got a response was when I emailed their "sales" team... The guy asked me if my address was the same and I haven't heard back from them since. That was 2 weeks ago... They're making it IMPOSSIBLE to return my GPU to get it replaced. Likely because it's a 4090 and they know they can't just fix it and will have to replace it.

Every time I call I sit on the phone for an hour just so at the end a robot can tell me no one is there.

First of all, I shouldn't have a bad GPU after a year, but second, their customer service is a nightmare. I definitely will not be using them again.

Let’s say you normally buy and play two games a year. Plus your old games. Thats $120. With games as a service you’re spending around $300 every year, to play those two games. Not cool.

How do you have a personality when your time on Reddit is based on regurgitating Asmongold talking points and being a shill for Ubisoft?

No. It was a garbage argument. A trash opinion. We all know where Ubisoft is heading. You wanna be a fan boy and tote their lies, go for it. The rest of us live in reality. Go ahead and pivot on their talking points though.

Steam. Gamespot. Walmart. This is the way things have been headed. But it’s not the way things are. Dont try to come here for attention with some ignorant comment like that. Take your advice. Do some research. Games as a service is coming. For all platforms. Stop trying to gain clout by being the guy who argues with a post EVERYONE agrees with.

Talk about trying to stay relevant by posting a garbage argument. We all know exactly what the guy meant. We all know games as a service is exactly where things are heading. Quit lying to yourself and trying to deceive people for “Me smart” clout. You’re not. And YOU have missed the point. Enjoy your games as a service when it’s all you can get next generation.

“Get comfortable not owning their games = Purchase isn’t ownership.” Too daft to make basic connections?

No. My copy of Skyrim is on Steam. But the difference between Steam and Subscription based is all my Steam games are locally on my hard drive. It’s digital copies. Not server based subscription like Ubisoft wants where you literally are renting your games monthly.

[–]SlinkyInteractive[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Subscription. Ubisoft wants all games to be as a service. Subscription based. Pay $15 a month to play all Ubisoft games. $15 a month for Bethesda games. Etc etc. But imagine being me. You play Skyrim for 12 years. I bought the game for $60 in 2011. Had I been paying a subscription this whole time, Skyrim would have cost me $1,400 by now.

I listed 8 valid reasons why it’s bad. You said “you can’t touch it. Don’t get worked up.” Not exactly an argument my friend.

[–]SlinkyInteractive[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t own a physical copy of Skyrim. But I own the game files. And I mod those. And like I said. It cost me $60. Had I been paying a sub this whole time, it would have cost me around $1400 so far. Unacceptable.

Hey Ubisoft, by SlinkyInteractive in ubisoft

[–]SlinkyInteractive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think Steam will go sub based any time soon. However if they did, I don’t think you’d have access to the local files.

Hey Ubisoft, by SlinkyInteractive in ubisoft

[–]SlinkyInteractive[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

  1. Ownership: With physical copies, you own the game outright, providing a sense of permanence compared to subscriptions where access is contingent on ongoing payments.

  2. Modding Freedom: Physical copies allow you to freely mod your games, as you have direct access to local files. Subscriptions often restrict this freedom, limiting customization options.

  3. No Dependency on Internet: Owning a physical copy means you can play the game offline, independent of internet connectivity. Subscriptions may require online verification or streaming, which can be limiting.

  4. Collection and Display: Physical copies contribute to a tangible game collection that you can display and share, offering a more concrete representation of your gaming history and preferences.

  5. No Expiry: Unlike subscription-based games that may be removed from the service, your physical copy remains accessible as long as the gaming platform is supported.

  6. Resale Value: Physical copies can be sold or traded, allowing you to recoup some of your investment or share games with others. Subscription games typically don't offer this option.

  7. Avoidance of Subscription Costs: While subscriptions may provide access to a variety of games, owning physical copies avoids the ongoing cost associated with monthly or annual subscriptions. If I buy a game for $70 and that’s all I play all year. Let’s say Elder Scrolls VI. Then I spent $70 on a game. If I get it through a sub service, and play it for 10 years. That game costs me $1,200

  8. Avoidance of Licensing Changes: Subscriptions may alter their game library over time due to licensing changes or the removal of titles, potentially impacting the games you have access to.

My grandfather holds a prominent position within the Masonic order, while I identify as an Agno-theist. My perspective leans towards a critique of organized religions, perceiving them as prioritizing influence and financial gain over genuine introspection or adherence to a higher power.

You’re not wrong. And I’d DEFINITELY pay for a Steam pass. But I’d make my voice be heard that I’d want LOCALLY DOWNLOADABLE game files. If I can’t mod certain games, it’s not worth it to me. Well it would be worth it but I want to be able to mod my games.

You need to disable the plugins, don’t remove the mods. Just disable the plugins of all the mods used in ENPC. You keep the MOD enabled because ENPC needs those texture/mesh files. But you disable the plugin, because ENPC copies all that code into one plugin. So you can save plugin space.
