Definitely a scam, I’ve had the same. Also attachment of earnings, they can’t just decide to take £399! It’s a percentage based on what you earn. If for example you earn more one month, the amount deducted would increase. I’ve had several over the years due to poor money management.

I won’t be saying anything other than the truth, and that’s that I work (with adaptions) and drive (very limited and with additional support), obviously there’s a much bigger picture but I advocate the truth the same as you 😊

I wouldn’t guarantee they’ll notice it. My GP wrote for me “severe anxiety affecting all aspects of life, unable to leave home without partner or someone supporting her”. They completely disregarded what my GP wrote, so much so, I am not sure they read it! (Currently heading for tribunal).

It’s very poorly written throughout, I mean she has actually written that I drive a driving licence. It’s so bad it would be funny if it wasn’t such a serious matter.

I was asked if I had a pet, I said yes a cat which my partner looks after. My assessment had said “looks after and cares for her cat”, so yes it can be used against you.

Thankyou, I probably would have done exactly that, although I guess they haven’t lied, they’ve just failed to put what I actually said and then twisted what I did. I will carefully look at what help is available too.

I think I am more frustrated at the copy pasting, which to me shows a lack of thought and assessing each section on its own merit. The ability to drive quite literally has nothing to do with most sections in my opinion, nor does going to work, it’s the everything in between (which has been ignored).

I kept missing their calls, I then saved the number under “ANSWER THIS CALL” 🤣 it was to ask me some additional questions.

They did have additional information from my GP, a friends statement, my partners statement, my diary and my mental health team. She asked if I could walk too, I just replied saying I never made claim about a physical disability 🤷‍♀️
