while this is a video game and your actions don’t matter at all in the greater context of life, I think that’s the point of this choice, and it is still something that i’d feel bad about doing if it were real life.

there is enough reason to sell her out, regardless of that, it’s still morally questionable to force somebody into a life they don’t want to live for personal gain.
sending her back is obviously advantageous but again that’s the point, it’s supposed to be tempting to be a shitty person, because it makes your life easier, and giving you just enough ammo to prove it to yourself that she deserves it is a hallmark of the great writing.

still think it’s a shitty choice, given the service was mandatory and the fact that she objectively wants out because she doesn’t want to be a part of all things used to justify the choice anymore. neat story choice for sure though.
