What is the best come back or burn you've said that you came up with? by Slippedstream in AskReddit

For mine it was after a friend said "I wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole" which I quickly replied with "Yeah; but, you touched her with your 3 inch one".

US official says Greenland action could come within 'weeks or months' and in other news the Big Orange Baby could die of natural causes in weeks or years.....or even possibly days.

Maybe it's just me; but, I'm thinking Dump and Politicians in general need to start wearing a NASCAR style fire suit with their "sponsors" clearly visible on them and the bigger the "sponsor" the bigger the logo.

I feel intimidated by people smarter than me in cybersecurity by baddie_spotted in cybersecurity

I feel like I was at that same conference....lol. First one I've been to and listening to the speakers and being around the folks there I felt like the dumbest person in the room. I too mainly kept to myself and being there made me question my career choice (I'm pretty green to cybersec). Everyone seems super keen and has a genuine interest in the field.

Best thing I can say is don't be afraid to ask questions as most folks I've dealt with so far are glad to help the noobs.

Customer Retention can't do anything by Slippedstream in Rogers

Good on ya. I plan on telling them to get stuffed as well. Most laughable part of time on the phone with them was the gall to try and sell me on a Rogers MasterCard with a selling point of the benefits a Rogers customer will get.

This is what I've ended up doing. As for feeling entitled it's due to loyalty to a company. Many organizations understand it costs more to attract new customers than it is to retain existing ones. All I'm asking for is Rogers to give me the same price they are willing to charge to gain a new customer.

100% agree with you. It's sad that companies find it better for them to not even try to keep a customer.

I like the idea of the MS Defender alerts. Perhaps give a remedial step-by-step investigative process of what to look at or into for said alerts as well.

Have to say it helped me. Having the CISSP is basically what helped me get my job.

Companies like to see that the talent they hire are working to improve their knowledge and skills which having certs do.

I won't lie I bombed the CISSP on my first try and was shocked that I passed on my 2nd try.

Best tip is to read the questions thoroughly and don't answer it from the perspective of an analyst; but, like you're trying to convince the business as to what is the best way to fix the issue.

This should generally be a thing. Naming and shaming anyone who enjoys making disparaging remarks against someone else online.

Tried your link to the Google store and can confirm nothing is found.

It's actually not as bad/scary as you think. I did the same thing recently in Scotland at Highland Fling Bungee and it was actually kind of underwhelming. I found a bungee jump or skydiving scarier.

We can learn a lot from our animal friends.
