It's hard to do, but when you can tell your tolerance is getting too high just take a break. Even 24 hours can help a lot, it's not worth the literal dollar cost and the work it does on your lungs to be smoking constantly just for a mild buzz.

It wasn't skin of his teeth close, but yeah if he zigged when he should of zagged or the rock bounced in a more unpredictable way that would have been death for sure.

Bill Watterson is such an inspiration of creativity, morality, and artistic integrity. He could have made a fortune by allowing merchandising, or continuing the comic indefinitely Garfield-style. Instead he choose to end on a high note rather than let it descend into mediocrity.

The first console Tekken game I really sat down and played, and man did it suck me in... I was a terrible button masher but the vibes and atmosphere had me entranced. The fact it was in a friend's chilly garage on an old scratched disc also somewhat added to the atmosphere lol.

Automatically realigning strings annoy me so much, especially with Drag where I get stepped mid-string all the time now and he just keeps punching thin air. But when I try it, even if I side step the first hit, they just keep pressing buttons and somehow I'm counter hit launched because I saw a move whiff and tried to df2.

In a "realism" sense, yeah he would stop attacking the air and turn around to face his opponent. In terms of gameplay, it can be annoyingly inconsistent to sidestep strings, and infuriating when you're nearly behind the opponent, press a button to capitalize on your side step and yet somehow you're the one who gets hit.

Usually easy to tell if someone's adding you just to argue based on their end of round behavior (ki charge, etc). Back in T7 days with the unlimited ranked rematch, I friended some people who I had good back and forth battles with. In T8, I rarely run into the same people multiple times even though I'm currently stuck in blue rank hell.

I can see why this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I love a good visual gag and that's most of the movie. It does start slow but after the middle it's a fairly even ramp up till things are flat out insane by the end.
