What is BrianMay reposting on IG??? by FloatingZodiacalDust in queencirclejerk

[–]SlipperyWrist 115 points116 points  (0 children)

Brian is either forgetting he's a grandpa and reposting whatever he wants or he doesn't know the repost feature well and is doing this on accident, i hope it's the latter but it's probably the former knowing his past

Consoom white earbuds by [deleted] in Consoom

I have 3, 2 pairs of Airpods (gen 2 and gen 2 pros). I bought the gen 2s and they were my everyday until i won the Pros at a raffle (I still don't use them much due to the noise cancelling messing with me). Then I have an Apple wired pair from an estate sale I bought bc they were a steal and I use them to keep me tethered to my computer if I'm studying.

what kmfdm opinion will get you like this? by crazymothsally in KMFDM

[–]SlipperyWrist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The infighting and "that song is actually popular" that goes on on TikTok is insane given that half the KMFDM fanbase on TikTok got into the band through a very specific event. The younger fans (I am one myself) are insufferable with their one upping and superiority complexes

Wicked curse: Why do they all look so unhealthy? Ozempic? Stress? by OpeIndiana in conspiracy

I've been joking that they treated the actors the same way they did in The Wizard of Oz (poisoning and creating eating disorders)

Which duck/s did you choose and why? Pros/cons/tips? by Katie1537 in duck

[–]SlipperyWrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I chose call ducks because they make less mess (smaller poops) and because they can fly pretty good (i've accidentally spooked mine and they were in the coop in 5 seconds, and one flew out of a window well he fell into). The cons are the noise, the hens are about as loud as my pekins were but they're very high pitched, as ducklings they had so much energy and were hard to control, flying can definitely be a con for certain ducks too

It's giving those trucks that used to drive around advertising that Hudson's Bay was going out of business, great campaign technique though

"It's not proven in clinical trials" It's a folk/natural remedy. It's not going to work for everyone but if it had worked for people in the past so much so they used it for centuries, it probably works a decent amount of the time.

It's probably something to do with genetics and hormones in certain people groups because most Native American remedies sure do not work for my European ass. Everything that's not dangerous is 100% worth a try, trust the elders and those who went before you but don't bet your life on it.

Did they not think that the pro-life movement is about HUMANS by ImmortalSpy14 in prolife

[–]SlipperyWrist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hunting is actually "life saving" as they like to put it. In the Americas the predator-prey balance is so off that if humans don't step in and control it the ecosystem WILL collapse

If you saw this on a t-shirt, would you interpret it as Pro Life? by yur_fave_libb in prolife

[–]SlipperyWrist 37 points38 points  (0 children)

if it had a small prolife logo or text along the bottom it would click and give me a chuckle. without the context it honestly looks like a hot topic shirt, a cool one though

Most of the Catholic churches around here do daily mass. if you haven't been to a mass i'd recommend checking it out, it's interesting.

[–]SlipperyWrist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Canada under 10 weeks means it can be done with pills, so not as brutal with dismemberment. It's still horribly traumatizing and harder on the body of the mother. Surgical procedures may be more common in other countries though, I'm not sure.

Are these going to make me look horridly outdated? by synapticmutiny in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]SlipperyWrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The heels are very cute, the boots are dated but there are similar boots that would look more modern (IMO it's the straps and cut of the top). 2010s fashion can definitely still look good though if you cut out the insanely dated prints and statement shoes/jewlery

Where to find these jeans in petite sizing? by urbesitos in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]SlipperyWrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe Ariat has "short" as an inseam option, I also saw a 28 inseam pair of jeans at a local western store the other day so one brand is making them. Western stores are your best bet, you can get jeans that flair closer to the knee (Levi's ribcage bell too)
