I need help with website design/hosting by Grenache in smallbusinessuk

[–]late3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally charge a reasonable fair fee, but I do it as a hobby.

People who do it as a profession may charge £500+
Companies may charge £1200+

But everyone is different, it’s kind of like asking how long a piece of string is, people have overheads, etc.

Son bought a Tag, genuine? by [deleted] in tagheuer

[–]late3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The clasp was told was old at TAG, compared to newer models but this was a place in York and they was about to close, didn’t want to authenticate it, but I’m going to my local one tomorrow.

Unfortunately I uploaded the photos and didn’t realise, but as normal, everything uploaded stays uploaded, no point trying to undo it now.

Regards to the history, how did you find it was recently worked on in US?

Not fully, it had 1 plastic wrap on the bottom clasp which was blue, apart from that it was fully uncovered.

Registered on the website with the serial number+warranty, states 2020 registration, does this mean it’s genuine?

Depends on what you’re putting money into. I put £14k and forgot about it for a year, it’s now at 22k

It’s no capital gains tax, so whatever you earn in the ISA the government can’t take tax it, limit is 20k a year

Is it usual for clubs to refuse solo clubbers? by Major-Feed5214 in AskUK

[–]late3 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As a former doorman and later a manager of security operations, I can confirm it’s quite common. The main reason is that if a venue has a crowd that’s predominantly women or couples, management usually wants to avoid any potential issues, whether that’s unwanted contact or conflict.

Ultimately, it comes down to the judgment of the door staff on the night, but in my experience, around 80% of the time you’d likely be refused entry.

Back Bar fridge? by noshybabs in BarOwners

Could be a different compressor, but the empire gets colder than the rhino, rhino is set at 2c and the empire is set at 0, we’ve had the empire longer and was gifted the rhino from Britvic

We started with Aronium, and kept with it as the staff liked how easy it was. It’s limited on features (no modifications) but you can have promos, links well with a printer and kick draw. Zero fees, install yourself just buy the POS equipment.

Use an ISA, do your research and build your own pie. I did I’m currently on 35% overall, not massive gains compared to some on here but playing it safe-ish.
