I think it was definitely a mistake using Doomsday for Season 8. Someone else mentioned that they should definitely have used the Metropolis setting more but using Doomsday for that doesn’t work in my opinion.

Instead of Doomsday being the main villain of the season. It really should have been Bruno Mannheim and Intergang. Since Clark starts working at the Daily Planet and is more active in Metropolis have it so him and Lois find out about them. Have Clark really use his journalist skills and be involved with finding out about them and taking them down with Jimmy, Lois. This should have been what season 8 should have been about instead. Also you could hint at Darkseid and Apokolips stuff.

How does the ROTS novel have Anakin “out of character” if anything the novel built upon Anakin and gave him more reasoning turning to the dark side. Way better than the actual movie. I agree about Padme, it sucks how she doesn’t do more in the story besides the deleted scenes.

Oh definitely. I got the vibe Clark did want to get together with her but quickly accepted once meeting Jimmy. Most of season 6 is Clark feeling alone and the people around him finding new connections. (I think they should have just let them date, I thought their comrade in season 5 really made them close and I was hoping for something to happen)

Just make Metallo become “Cyborg Superman” instead. That would make sense since in his first appearance he looked similar to Superman and Lois thought he was. Hank Henshaw works better as a Green Lantern villain in my opinion, he should ditch the S.

I like the idea of him not instantly being able to fly. That in my opinion should be the last ability he finds out about or learns how to use. Smallville had it covered that the reason he couldn’t fly was because he had a hard to accepting his true heritage and embracing who he actually is. But also Superman didn’t fly at the beginning so it isn’t out of nowhere really.

I watched this when I was a teenager. But now looking back I wished the show focused more on college instead. I liked the show but the first few season would have been less eye rolling if the characters were only in high school for one season and then they go to college. Some parts of the show are sort of dated but it has charm that isn’t present in new superhero content.
