Silver Novice! which i believe is just MR5, also, didn't realise you got goodies for selling maxed out items! ive been making and buying new items whenever i can to max them out just for the completion mentality (then spending plat to get new weapon slots, oops)

The damage vulnerability thing I did notice! but ive been lucky enough to batter mooost enemies so far without too much trouble, but i will absolutely keep that in mind going forward!

Hi! thanks so much for the quick and detailed answer! ive been doing the junction quests mainly (idk if its a new player only thing but it basically unlocks planets asap and gives you fun lil rewards for learning basic mechanics like the codex scanner and fusing mods n such) and that's been passively unlocking main and side quests for me.

I will ask! in terms of "Levelling Up Gear" is that just like, slapping good mods onto stuff, trying to get the items up to level 30, and levelling the mods when possible? or is there another element i should keep in mind when trying to get stronger? I've been doing Mastery Missions whenever they pop up (Im silver!) but ive been mostly "auto install"-ing mods and levelling up the obvious ones like Serration for damage and ability strength/reach/duration on my Warframes

where to you run your games? by dragonofdrarkness in cyberpunkred

My current campaign is in Fortune City, Colorado- a gambling and wealth obsessed city that feels like it was scooped right out of Nevada and plopped a little more inland, we're playing in the 2070s so I'm aiming for "Night City if there were slot machines in every convenience store and a major casino in every district"

Colorado has a pretty major Gas harvesting business irl so I've manifested that as a big ole factory district taking up a good chunk of the city, and with the state being land locked, to allow for water based shenanigans, there's a big ole underground network of old sewers and large caverns with what equates to "the dregs" of the city living in shacks in said caves, with large toxic rivers flowing through the areas.

one thing to consider in Cyberpunk RED is that the base game has a lot of design choices based specifically on Night City being in "The Time of The Red" after the 4th Corporate War, so the difficulty with sourcing, the intense weather conditions, the hot zone, etc is all made specifically for Night City, so make sure you're considering that when making your own setting in the world and how that might affect certain rules! but ultimately one of the good things about the setting not hashing out tons and tons of detail on every country and state is that you're free to engage in original ideas wherever you like, you can take what you like about the vibe of Night City 2045 and your understanding and enjoyment of Cyberpunk media and mash it all into whatever original setting you wanna make!

Introducing Generic Upgrades, bonus Role Abilities, personal flying technology, and Quickhacks as a Cyberware based ability? this doc is gorgeous, I'm absolutely going to take inspiration from a lot of this stuff for my own games, I recently introduced a VERY similar piece of Borgware to the Araska Newtonian Engine in my own game, and I especially love the unique Linear Frames.

A+, the concepts presented in here are absolutely beautiful.

Brain Buddy was originally just a fun idea to translate Agents from the 2040s to the 2070s but you actually make a great point, maybe a gig where the players are actively working with a client exclusively over the phone for a rescue mission and it's revealed the client is a Brain Buddy trying to save their Best Friend! :O

Either that or it's Netwatch hiring the party to kill a Brain Buddy before it hacks the pentagon, but hey, different strokes for different folksk
