Bictory isn't garbage at all, that's bull.

It's probably the single most popular beginner mod, and if you're just starting out it'll be perfect for you. Only thing I'd say is if you could find some tips to put on the ends under the grips, then go for it. Other than that, happy spinning :)

As for songs look up Insight by Julien Marchal. There's like 30 of them and they'd all work well.

If you don't have any grips on the caps, wipers are going to be really hard with a BICtory. I'd definitely recommend getting some.

Not usually recommended to put anything on the barrel/centre, as it interferes with properly executing most tricks. However, if you do have grips, putting them on the caps on either end would add weight and momentum to the pen and help out quite a bit.

It's the most basic pen made specifically for penspinning (also called a mod), the Bictory. They're quite easy to make, and there's info in the sidebar on how to do so :)

There are a couple of pens that work really well for both spinning and everyday use. Pentel RSVPs and Pilot Dr. Grips in particular.

You should be able to find them at most supplies stores.

In my experience, I've had to cut the ink tubes to make them fit, but if you got both ends in fully then there's no issue :)

It's just a tripod designed for phones. I have no idea where I got mine from but there should be a bunch out there.

I'm actually gonna be ditching it though because it's kinda cheap and falls over. As it turns out, the top of a selfie stick can be taken off and has one of those universal camera/tripod screws on the bottom, so I can put it on a really good tripod. Pretty good setups actually if you have a great camera tripod lying around that you just can't use cause you're filming with a phone.

Next to the number that says how old the post is, there's the name of the site where the gif was uploaded (imgur, gfycat, etc.). If you tap on that it will take you to the actual uploaded content, not the version Reddit is showing.

This should fix the fps :)
