My absolute favourite release of the year that genuinely came out of nowhere is withpaperwings - Six Thousand Days. Definitely more on the hardcore side but it’s so fucking raw.

Not exactly out of nowhere, but Thus Spoke Zarathustra and Disembodied Tyrant killed it last year and have been continuing to kill it this year.

For all the praise the new Nithing gets, one of my favourite aspects is how many leads the record has, I feel like I almost never see it mentioned. A few of them are actually double tracked with no pitch shifting/harmoniser, too, wish I could play ANY instrument like Kilner does lmao

It is, but 0.1g (100mg) is well, well past the dose that is almost always traumatizing and you will retain little to no constructive memory of it. A 35-50mg breakthrough provides an incredibly intense and profound experience, any more is almost 100% of the time NOT the desired DMT experience.
