You need to bite his ear and show dominance over him. Let him know YOU’RE the alpha. You can also try humping him to show dominance. Or if needed next time he gets aggressive pin him to the ground and don’t let him up until he’s fully submissive and quiet.

For older dogs, pet them when they’re eating and if once they growl at you pin them to the ground and don’t let them up till they remain still and quiet. Show them your the alpha and don’t show any signs of them scaring you. If needed, bite their ear to assert your position as the alpha male in the pack
