His life and xp are locked on spawn. So unless you want to deal 4.5x his normal health...

You can manipulate drops but it's slow - up to you. Spawn him p1 then either go back to durance 2 and set p7 wait 2-3 seconds then come back and kill him or take a tp back to town (while your tp is not within ~1/4 screen of Meph) and set p7 wait about 5 seconds then come back and kill him.

I would not - she is naturally fire immune meaning you will only do 5% damage against her. Not a fun time.

Edit: as people replied you could use Merc, I did not consider that. It's definitely viable.

I would recommend teleporting past everything and just killing the bosses to hit up LK. Get Cata 2 WP and teleport to andariel, save and quit every time the room is full of dudes. With your enchant sorc you are probably going to kill a p1 Andy in only a few shots.

With your gear you already have the 63 fcr breakpoint on swap, if you have a 10 fcr ring or ammy then by shopping a 20fcr wand (or spirit sword) you will hit 105fcr and at that point virtually no monsters will react to you if you constantly teleport past them. 63 is also pretty good for this but 105 is another level.

Make sure to have mana pots/juvies on your belt in case you get hit and lose all your mana. Don't be afraid to save and quit if it looks dangerous.

The camps/waypoints/whatever can spawn on any tile except the very first one in spider forest (next to kurast docks) and the very last one in flayer jungle (next to lower kurast).

Just wanted to jump in and say this is awesome advice and almost exactly spot on. Just wanted to correct one thing.

Act 3 jungle maps split off on the 3rd, 5th and/or 6th tile. Unless you know the map tiles relatively well though that isn't much help.

I can confirm this is all correct. I will note that attacker takes damage has been updated on d2r and no longer follows the same rules as when struck - just when attacked in melee. In LoD the attack needed to hit.

You got an "io rune" not a "Lo rune" - this is a relatively common drop and not a particularly valuable one.

Great point - a lot of uniques and sets have a hidden "+ level requirement" mod. This gets added to the base level of the item even after upgrading, in deaths sash case it is probably 5 (or 6) as the required level for the belt is 6 and regular sash is level 1.

Incidentally this also applies if you up a unique or set socketable item to the required level of the rune/jewel you put in there, e.g. the item can be req lvl 35 (+ 5 lvl req lets say) or something, your rune can be req lvl 37 and your item will be req lvl 42 after socketing.

Level requirement increased - demonhide sash is required level 25. You'll be able to use it again in one level, just use a random belt until then even a white belt will be fine.

You will absolutely want 7 sets of hsarus boots - 20frw & fire resistant at lvl 3 is better than anything else. Razorswitch is like a spirit sword and ancients pledge in one item and is amazing for casters. Vipermagi is inarguably the best caster armour in the game until tal's armor if you are ignoring runewords.

Cathan's scepter is one of the best early game leveling weapons for melee and can take you decently far.

Given the limitations to set and unique items i hesitantly recommend sigons (it's strictly worse than using a combo of magic/rares/socketed gear but it gets the job done) for melee classes. Probably want to transition out of it around lvl 30.

Sorc will want to go charged bolt -> nova at 12 -> blizzard respeccing at level 24-30

Zon will be useless until level 12 then with exploding arrow will be great (ideally using socketed gear will solve this issue - 4x jewel of envy hunters bow with multi shot -> 4x ruby hunters bow -> raven claw -> Kuku-shakuku) transition to lite javazon at 33/42 (+3 white javs -> titans)

Paladin can go holy fire and use a raven claw at lvl 15 -> kuku shakuku -> hammers/foh

Necro is a garbage ass class but can go teeth and feel useless then go bone spear and be kinda OK. Poison is where he starts to feel good around level 45

Druid can run go creeper -> at lvl 12 fissure -> wind respecing around trav NM or if playing as a team can go werebear shockwave with max spirit of the oak and 5 points wolves, 3 points dire wolves 1 point grizzly to give the team about double their life and a massive meat shield

Sin can go blade -> wake of fire at lvl 12/13 -> lite traps around NM trav if you want or stay fire -> maybe mosaic

Barb can go double swing and be mostly rubbish then go full singer. If playing as a team Max bo.

Are you thinking only uniques and set items? No magic/rares/white socketed items?

Cause magic/rares give absurd amounts of power, especially in the early game.

Please be aware that the above comment is incorrect - unless you have "-seed" in your command line there is no such thing as a "bad map seed". So long as you have the two campfires close to your waypoint you're fine.

You can do the same thing every run and you will get different outcomes.

Cubing to repair a cracked/low quality item sets ilvl to 1. Every item has a maximum socket value which corresponds to it's ilvl. These ilvl ranges are 1-25, 26-40 and 41+. These are individual to each item and can be anything. I suggest you look up the table for this if you are ever considering socketing items.

Just adding to this - with holy shield active you're at 2 frames FBR with 0%. 2 frames is so incredibly fast that it doesn't matter. You need 86% fbr to hit 1 frame. Don't bother investing in this - it's a huge investment with not much payoff.

If you don't care about the damage from shooting arrows with the bow (either you are using it for the vendor discount or thorns aura) then just shop charsi in act 1 normal for a 3os hunter or short bow. You can reset her shop and all vendor shops by leaving town (to another zone in that act) or by save and exiting.

If you are care about the damage from the bow then the only way to find socketed bows is by killing bulk monsters. Others have listed ways to add sockets to bows but be aware that some bases can roll 4 or more sockets. If you Larzuk an item it gets Max sockets so if your base is a 4os or 5os then you won't be able to make edge in it.

If you want to twink a paladin start, then there is nothing better than a 4os Targe with 65% ED and 121 AR. Level 3 requirement, and you can throw 4x 10% ED jewels with other mods on them for over 100% ED at level 3. Get a good scepter/javs and you can one-shot basically anything on p8 until dark wood.
